I'm happy to inform you that Dyson does include instructions in the box with your machine outlining how to complete the minimal assembly required with your machine. Great vacuum

I just thought it lacked some of the basic extra's I like in a vacuum. It did not have a light on the front, and dog hair, got stuck in the canister.

Difficult to get it to stand up on its own. No cord rewind is definitely old school. Attachments are not convenient to use.

I don’t have any carpet but I do have 3 hairy animals and prefer to vacuum the floors rather than always sweep. The vacuum is hard to maneuver and a bit heavy. My biggest complaint is I use the attachments the most and I just don’t like the system. I’m still trying to figure out if I’m doing something wrong after a month of use. I wish I would’ve went with a different product.
