I finally gave in and spent the money on a dyson. I am amazed! I had just vacuumed with my old vacuum and went over it with this and I filled multiple canisters first thing. It’s not overly heavy and maneuvers easily over multiple floor types. To say I am impressed is an understatement. It’s only the beginning, but I find I am vacuuming more often just because I enjoy the ease of use.

This vacuum does everything it says it will do and more. I have two dogs that live in a 2600 sq.ft. house. The vacuum cleans up all the dirt and dog hair that accumulates with no issues. I love it.

This vacuum is great. BUT, it’s absolutely terrible in the attachment/attachment hose area. It’s does have great suction, but every single time I go to use the attachment hose, the vacuum ALWAYS falls over, no matter how I position it. I just end up using the attachment hose with the vacuum completely fallen over.

Got tired of buying cheaper vacuums that break all the time. Decided to upgrade and I’m absolutely amazed at how powerful this vacuum is at cleaning deep into the carpets. Great purchase so far.

This is our second Dyson Upright in 10 years. I have had other brands but none come close to the power of a Dyson. I am very picky about my floors and when I used the animal 2 for the first time, it was shocking how much dirt came out of my carpet. We have 4 dogs and this is perfect for us. This Dyson is easy to put together and start using. I purchased the Dyson V10 stick and will not trade either of my vacuums for another brand.

I read all the reviews and did tons of research before I purchased this vacuum. I love it! It's as good as everyone says. I can't believe what my old vacuum was leaving behind. I'm very happy.

Initially I was very concerned about potential damage to carpet and tile. Very pleased with the results. Easy to use and the results judging from all the dirt in the catcher is spectacular.

This was a surprise for my wife, who had been complaining about our old vacuum, ad Dyson, by the way. We'd had it 11 years. We vacuumed less than 24 hours ago with old vacuum. This one picked up tons of stuff still in the carpet. It's versatile, powerful and light to carry. She is happy!!!

Easy to maneuver. Long cord so you don’t have to keep plugging it in. A bit pricey but you should never need another vacuum again. My daughter has had one for 10 years. My main reason for getting this vacuum was for animal. My own hair has been shedding and gets tangled around the brushes on all vacuums I have ever owned. Except for my new Dyson! Would recommend and buy again.

This vac does a great job on both carpet and bare floors. First I vacuumed the carpet with my Kirby vacuum then I vacuumed with the Dyson Ball Animal 2. I was amazed to see how much debris was left by the Kirby (which is supposed to be one of the best vacs and is certainly one of the most expensive!). Great on bare floors as well (not so with the Kirby). I strongly recommend the Dyson Ball Animal 2.

This thing SUCKS!!! So much better than our first Dyson Animal vacuum and that is saying something. We used the old one then went over the area again and it picked up much more than the old one. I had read that people were having trouble pushing it. My wife is having no problem. She loves it. Best Valentines gift I've ever bought her.

My bissell completely lost suction over time, just like the two vacuums before it. Frustrated, I did some research and decided to invest in a better vaccum instead of going the quick and cheap route again. The majority of my home has ceramic tile with low pile carpet in 3 bedrooms and a large rug in the livingroom. I also have a small dog that moderately sheds. After weeks of comparison shopping, I choose the Dyson Animal. Assembly was quick and painless. Instructions are very simplistic so don't over think it steps like I did. After one pass I immediately wondered why I hadn't bought one sooner! PROs - lightweight, super easy to maneuver and AMAZING SUCTION!!!!! It fluffed my carpet up as if it had just been shampooed. No mess canister dumping and works seamlessly across multi surfaces. CONs - The cord storage hooks do not hold excess cord slack while you are vacuuming. It unravels no matter how you configure them. There is only a designated place on the vaccum for two of the three attachments. You will need to remember were you put the deep clean attachment. As stated in other reviews, it does not easily and consistently lock into the upright position. It sometimes disengages when rolling it on the wheels. Overall, I am VERY pleased with the Dyson Animal and feel it is worth every penny.

This vacuum has some serious suction power. It is great for hard surfaces as well as carpets. The brush adapter for the hose works extremely well for cleaning dog hair off the couch!

I had my old Dyson for a little over 10 years so I grabbed this one. I went back and forth between them and landed on this one. It was sort of a pain to put together but after that it worked amazing. When you get it on a rug it is like a self propelled mower that thing just goes. And I did one pass through my house and from what was in the canister it was as if i did not vacuum my house for 3 weeks.

Aside from all the plastic that will eventually need part replacement, it's well built and a strong choice. We have a Labrador that sheds hair like a snow storm, and this is the first vacuum to make thorough work of it.

Like the suction, lightweight. Easy to push. Like it.

I purchased this Dyson to replace my old one that I had for over five years. Dyson vacuums are the best! The suction is unparalleled and the ball makes it so easy to push. I have multiple sclerosis and need a vacuum that almost moves on it's own. This Dyson fits the bill! In addition, the sales staff at my local store is amazing! Special kudos go out to Ancil for all of his help.

I had the previous animal by Dysan and it was great. This one is made cheaper but it sucks up everything much better. Has a lot of vacuum power. I don't care for the way you need to lock up the handle and then make it unlock to vacuum and I don't like that the cord wraps the opposite way. But the neat swirl attachment if tremendous! This vacuum is worth the money but it could of been built a little stronger.

This Dyson was recommended by a friend. I have started using it and was so surprised and impressed I went over all areas again, only because I enjoyed using it. Highly recommend.

I don't love vacuuming, but I do love the results. I have a Cavalier King Charles that sheds terribly. My new Dyson picks it all up! Love the ease of the attachments also.
