Hair wrapped inside roller brush

However, the roller brush is seriously flawed. It is made out of two pieces that connect in the middle. This allows pet and human hair to enter into the roller brush and wrap around the pieces that makes it spin. Which in turn produces a serious burning smell. I shouldn't have to take my $300 PET vacuum apart to rip hair out of the inner parts of the brush. It's supposed to be for pets. If too much hair gets wrapped around, it causes the motor to burn out. This is a common problem apparently, because I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out what was wrong. I would not recommend this to a friend. If I could take it back I would, because it's a very expensive piece of junk.

We can confirm that in homes with pets, or if you're frequently vacuuming up longer human hair, more frequent brush bar maintenance may be needed. Removing hair from the brush bar before it's able to accumulate will help prevent any issues from occurring, or burnout to the brush bar motor.
