Very good suction and quality. A little funny assembly, but got it figured out. Really feels like its doing a good job with getting fine particles and pet dander. Love it so far

I love my Dyson Ball Animal 2 Bagless Upright Vacuum! It's very powerful, and it's very easy to empty the dirt and clean the components. It does take some time getting used to maneuvering it around, but once I did, it's awesome!

I like the Dyson maneuverability because of its ball design. I can reach some extra area with this design and it is a huge plus. Reachability under furniture is slightly better. I can vacuum both carpet and hard floors like bathrooms without changing any setting. However moving vacuum cleaner on hard floor produces annoying noise and it should not be relied on heavily. I replaced Bissel vacuum cleaner with Dyson Animal 2 vacuum cleaner. I vacuumed whole carpet first with Bissel and then with Dyson. Dyson didn't pick anything new. Dust can was almost empty. It proves that Bissel suction is as good as Dyson. Dyson suction is still very good. I brought Dyson after looking at pictures that I can clean stairs with its extensible hose. But the suction is so strong that hose is pulled back and causing so much of stress on hands to keep it in place. I couldn't vacuum my car easily as compared to Bissel because of it's hose design. Bissel had an expandable plastic hose pipe which also worked great on stairs to some extent by lugging along the stairs. Long human hair is easily tangled to its roll and I had to clean the roll every time I clean my whole house. It runs noticeably hard when hair is tangled to its roll. The tangle free turbine tool works but it is meant for couches because it is very small. Dyson picks up cords, cables, threads easily and I had to pay extra attention so that they won't tangle and damage motor. Dust can collects fine dust and it can spill when detaching it before emptying. I am not very confident that it doesn't leak any dust outside. Attachments are expensive too. It did not have adjustable suction so that it can be controlled for certain scenarios. Given so many cons I would not recommend Dyson so much.

Yes, you heard that right. It sucks literally harder then any other vacuum I’ve had. I’ve got a dyson v11 I usually vac the upstairs with. But a full battery charge doesn’t allow me to finish the entire floor. I needed something that plugged in. After reviewing and bought it specifically due to the suction air watt rating. The dyson v11 came in at 185 on max setting. And the dyson ball 2 came in at 306 all day long, I figured it better suck. Though I see mismatching ratings from dyson on the ball animal 2 with customer questions third party websites and emails to dyson rating it at 270AW. So which is it dyson???

This is my first Dyson vacuum and I love it! The suction power is exactly as described. Works great on my shag rug with the roller turned off. Seems light and easy to maneuver.

Powerful vacuum that works great on carpet and multiple floors. Attachments are very helpful. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it’s too powerful for small carpets. It’s difficult to use on smaller carpets. Overall a great machine.

In comparison to the multiple vacuum cleaners we have owned this is by far the best. The suction is great and the attachments are excellent. Unlike other vacuums the hose is tough and therefore won't break easily.

We have 3 pets - 2 cats and a dog - and hardwood floors with some individual rugs. We really needed a vacuum that would slide easily over these surfaces and pick up fur effectively. This machine does the job.

Our 22 year old Dyson died and we never thought about any other vacuum cleaner as a replacement. The newer BALL version maneuvers more easily, is a bit lighter and cleans as well or better than the old one.

I must clean daily and this picks up all fist and hair.

I love this vacuum. it has some major suction. It is a little loud though and seems to be louder than my last one.

This is the second one I have owned and it seems to be more powerful. It has an excellent new small attachment that gets after dog hair on anything made of cloth.

The Dyson Animal vacuum is everything it says it is. It is easy to use and cleans the floors extremely well. Would highly recommend this product to others.

Its as good as advertised. If you have stairs it is a little heavy and awkward to use. No complaints gets job done. Little on the expensive side.
