Finally spent the money for best vacuum I’ve ever had in 30 years. I’ve always had canister vacuums so it’s been an adjustment with how it maneuvers but the way the vacuum cleans is far better than any canister vacuum. Bagless is also better and the air is cleaner. Looking forward to using it for many years.

The suction is great, it has a lot of attachments and they’re very helpful when you want to vacuum your furniture or spaces that are hard to reach. The best vacuum I’ve ever tried. Excellent!

I had a Kirby that broke after the warranty was up so I purchased the Dyson and the suction is 10 times better than the Kirby and it’s easier to handle

I made a mistake. I read the reviews that said this is a very heavy vacuum cleaner, but I love Dyson products and just installed a white carpet so I decided to go for it anyway. Heavy and difficult to maneuver is an understatement! It does have the power but it's a full work out to vacuum.

Yes this is expensive, but it the best vacuum I have a German Shepard he sheds so bad, I have a cat with long hair she sheds, this is the only vacuum that can handle my problems

Light weight easy to move very powerful . We have two dog picks up all their hair . This is our second Dyson no complaints from either one . Very easy to assemble .

Dyson vacs are the best! Great power and lightweight that is perfect for anywhere in the house. If you have pets, this is the vacuum to get!

I mean, it is a Dyson after all. There's probably minimum room for try and find the downsize, but we purchased this model after not being satisfied with a Bissell vacuum that always left dust on the floor no matter how many times you passed it over. If you're considering this vacuum, I highly recommend do a little research to understand the type of dyson and suction option you need. I am highly satisfied from the upgrade, yet we still have minimum spaces or residues that we mop or broom.

This is a great vacuum! Works as advertised! Seems a little delicate but overall its a great vacuum. Got the Animal 2 because it had more power than the other Dyson vacuums, glad i did!

I have had several different Dyson vacuums over the years . My first model was many years ago when they were first introduced into the US market . They have improved over the years . The current Animal 2 is by far the best . With 270 AW the suction is great , almost too good . If your carpet is an area rug , the vacuum will almost ingest it . While the Cinetic models have certain advantages , the suction is not as great as the Animal 2 . They have 180 AW as opposed to the 270 AW of the Animal 2 . While every product has its positives and negatives , in my mind the basic purpose of a vacuum cleaner to to suck up dust and dirt . This vacuum does that extremely well .
