As our first Dyson, I had high expectations. It is still early, but so far so good. The vacuum is excellent, super powerful, and easy to maneuver.

Easy to use and great suction. Picks up all the fur my 2 big dogs are shedding.

After debating on which dyson to buy since I previously owned one, we decided on this one for the attachments and more power to remove cat hair.

I vacuumed with this and my carpet came to life. Most powerful vacum yet. 2nd Dyson to own light weight. Love it.

I don't have a lot of space that needs a vacuus, this one makes short work of it and does an excellent job, it is very easy to operate and to empty!

Had an older model Dyson animal for about 12 years and loved it so had to make my new one the newest version which I love even more! I have a St Bernard and this baby helps me keep up with the shedding better than any other vacuum out there, including my friends Shark with the self cleaning brush head. The Dyson does get some hair wrapped but I only have to clean it off every month or so. It ended up going on sale for 200 off a couple of weeks later and best buy matched it for me so thank you BB!

I went back and forth with all the Dyson vacuums and other brands in general but glad I got this one. You'll either end up replacing a cheap vacuum or not getting the same results. Not bashing other brands but its amazing what this vacuum picked up what was left over from another brand. I have allergies of course to dust so this gets more than I could imagine. One downside is that its impossible to vacuum small throw rugs or bath mats but I'd rather have it clean the main areas and just take the others outside to clean.

It’s a great vacuum for the suction and maneuverability. The cord is very long, sometimes too long. I have a hard time vacuuming chairs as the hose and wand are long and stiff.

If you are looking for an upright vacuum that will clean any surface this is it. This thing is super powerful and makes cleaning carpets a breeze.

Love Dyson products and this vacuum is the bomb!!! The suction is great and the mini power attachment is fantastic!! Just used it for my stairs!!

This vacuum is the best vacuum I have ever purchased. Easy to use and clean. Cleans the carpet better than any other vacuum I’ve had.

Great suction, but not too much as I've seen some users complain about. It picks up dust and crud, and doesn't seem to die and fade like our old vac. It also doesn't jump around on the carpet like our old one did when going certain directions, which really was annoying. The only thing I don't like is that when you stand it up before turning the vac off, it transfers the suction to the wand and makes god awful hissing noise. Still scares me half to death every time.

After watching numerous reviews stating the Dyson Animal 2 didn't pick up items larger than sand, I have to admit I was hesitant to purchase this vacuum. But after using the product for a month, I am happy to say I have not had any issues. We have plank tile throughout and the suction effortlessly picks up everything it comes in contact with- from dog food and cat litter, to crayons and doll hair. I deducted a star rating due to the precarious detachment and height of the front (which puts limits on how far you can vacuum underneath furniture, beds, etc), but all in all and for the sale price of 399 I was very happy with the item.

Great product, one of the top vacuums on the market. The best vacuums can only get about 60% of dirt in carpets and this is one of the vacuums that hits that mark. The only downside is cleaning the filter occasionally (eventually losing suction as all vacuums do), and the only great vacuum that does not have a filter is another vacuum by the same brand that is more than double the cost of this one, and a certain water filtration vacuum that is approximately ten times the price of this one. This is by far one of the best bang for your buck vacuums.

This vacuum cleans all the dog hair and my carpets look wonderful. The only drawback is that it's kind of loud but it does a great job so definitely worth it.

So far, this vacuum has worked well. The carpets look like they’ve been steam cleaned and with 4 dogs and a cat. Also, it seems like there’s improvement with allergies and maybe it’s just me, but after vacuuming- the air feels… fresh? The quality of the product is questionable. It feels a little cheap since it’s basically made of plastic. I feel it will be a matter of time before something cracks. I’m hoping a $500+ vacuum won’t give my hopes up in the near future. We’ll see.

This vacuum has a ridiculous amount of power. It will suck rugs up and curtains so be careful. We have a golden retriever, hairy beast. I have not been able to keep up with his shedding until I bought this vacuum. Thank you Dyson! My only issue was the tools. The hose when you pull it out to use the tools is VERY tight. I fight it every time. Maybe because it’s new, I’m not sure but, that is the only reason I didn’t give it the 5th star. I recommend this vacuum to anyone with furbabies.
