We replaced our slowly failing central vac system. The suction is amazing on this this vacuum. I do wish the attachments all had a place on it so nothing has to be kept separate from it. Also the cord top holder is really flimsy for the price. Little shocked by that. Emptying the canister is super simple and wellmdone as is washing the filter. Works great on our tile floors also with the brush turned off - which is simple to do also as it is right next to the power button.

Powerful and easy to clean. Turbine tool works great if you have pets. Recommend it. I'm happy with this vacuum.

Great suction and light weight! My kids can use it.

I really like dyson, and this vacuum is no exception. I recently exchanged my 2016 dyson animal cinetic ball vacuum for this one (the previous one died and the geek squad warranty is fantastic - no questions asked they returned my money and I was able to get this one for less money!), and this vacuum although is smaller and less heavy than the one I had before, it performs well. I just hope this one lasts me more than 2 years...

Works great, I had read about these vacuums having so much suction it was hard to move but we have not had that problem. we do wish the attachment and wand were more like the original dyson animals. the wand on the original clicked right in this one has to fit in a keyway and can be testy at times. also the attachment are not as easy to hook up as the original unit. We do love how well it cleans best vacuum power we have had.

This vacuum SUCKS, and I mean that in a positive way. Being able to turn off the brush when vacuuming hard floors is great. The roller/suction might be a bit too harsh, as it's been detaching a lot of carpet fiber. The fiber coupled with my dog's super long hair means for cleaning the roller a couple of times per month. The plastic body is solid, but leaves a bit desired in terms of premium feel.

This Vacuum has great suction and is very easy to use on floors. The hose is very stiff when using attachments, but that may get better.

Suction is fantastic, pushes easily and no messy bags to deal with. Wife loves it, so that should say it all.

This Dyson is so easy to set up and use. The vacuum power is strong and easy to dispose of the dust and dirt.

As soon as I put the vacuum together I vacuumed the whole house. I could not believe the dust it picked up. It looked like I haven't vacuumed my house in a long time. The carpet looks great.

After many years of Oreck vacuums we decided to make a change. Overall, we are pleased with this product. It is somewhat heavier, but performs very well on both carpet and hardwood floors.

This replaces 12 yr old Dyson that lost it's oomph. Animal does a great job on carpet and non-carpet floors (hardwood, tile, and vinyl). The hose and attachments are great for stairs and hard to reach areas. One item of note - the hose extension is very tight and does not have much give. You almost have to anchor the machine and then pull on hose to get hose to stretch / extend and use attachments - it can be workout.

Ive not had the Dyson-Ball Animal 2 very long and have only used it once. For the price I'm a bit disappointed. The vacuum has a floor mode and a carpet mode, but the carpet mode is inconsistent... There's a button you push to activate carpet mode which is supposed to make the brush-bar spin, for some reason I can't get it to work consistently. I turn it off and restart it, sometimes to works, sometimes it doesn't. Big problem for a big priced item. I've read other reviews with similar issues and have tried troubleshooting the problem but can't narrow down the cause. When the brush bar did work, however, the vacuum was pretty good.

Easy to move around. Picks up very, very well. I will never use another vacuum cleaner.

I have been very happy with this vacuum. It outperforms the vacuum it replaced and I was pretty happy with its performance. Light and easy to navigate around corners and furniture. The construction does seem less robust than I expected and engaging the vacuum to begin sweeping seems more flimsy than other vacuums I've had in the past, but it has been holding up well, so maybe it really isn't a concern.

I tried changing over to a shark and came right back to Dyson. Really can’t beat the power of this vacuum. I think the only criticism I have is that the plastic hinges could be made better as they have, in the past, broken from overuse (opening the dirt bin). I have had this vacuum for the last 6 years and it still works, I bought another one because I was tired of carrying it up the stairs. So now I have one upstairs and downstairs ;)

Works well. Picks up a lot of dirt. It is a light weight vacuum and easy to move around. The hose and wand are a little difficult to use.

Incredible device for cleaning rugs, carpet, and hardwood floors. A bit pricey but worth the money
