Bought this for my daughter for her wedding shower

This is a very good vacuum. Quality is very good and suction is second to none. Having said that, if you have thick, plush carpets or near plush it can be little more work pushing and pulling back your vacuum. We've added 1 furniture sliders (1in by 4 inches long) on the front part of the beater head? It glides better and still pick up very well.

Frat vacuum but....it’s almost too strong! I have a couple carpets that are not super breathable so when I use this on them, it tends to get stuck (like a suction cup effect) and I end up not being able to move the vacuum unless I turn it off. It happens so often that I end up using the attachment brush and hose to work those two rugs. Other than that, great vacuum!

This is the first vacuum I've had that really works well on hardwood floors and carpeting. They usually work well on one or the other, but this works on both!

Great suction and mostly easy to use. Only problem is remembering to switch off brush when on wood floors.

We bought this during the Black Friday sale. What a great buy! The vaccum has amazing suction power, and I like that a bag is not required. We can clearly see when the unit is getting filled, and it's easy to empty. My only complaint is that the utility hose is a bit difficult to maneuver, so that's why I gave it 4 stars. It almost seems like the suction from the vacuum is causing the hose to retract.....but I'm not complaining because I like the power.

I owned one of these vacuums before and it lasted about 15 years. I had to finally say good bye to it and I didn't even think about purchasing any other kind because the one I had before did me very well. I am glad I decided to go with this one again because the new updated one work great. Wouldn't buy any other vacume.

Lots of power. Hard to push on some carpets. Easy to clean.

Good suction. Dog in the house spreads out quite a bit so this is a good model. We are about two weeks in and use it every couple of days. No issues. Kindof difficult to make it stand upright but overall good. I like that it has an easy release to put the gross stuff straight in the garbage.

This is my second one of this vacuum, first one I had for almost 10 years! The suction power is AMAZING, so much so it’s actually really hard to push over my carpet. I don’t have shag carpet, but I do have thick nylon carpet. I thought my last vacuum was cleaning well, I was wrong. I will be calling Dyson to see if there is an adjustment I can make to the vacuum for my carpet.

I love this vacuum!!! This has made my life so much easier! I am so happy about the capabilities that this vacuum has, and have no worries about it. My son has 2 Akitas who go through a Blow out period and I regularly have to vacuum those monstrous coats. This vacuum is amazing! It has no issues at all.

We had a 12 year old Dyson and it was losing power. So we bought another Dyson and it does a great job. We just got new carpets and it made a big difference from the older Dyson. We have a dog and does great picking up the dog hair. . Also switching to hardwood floors automatically works great. The 5 year warrant Dyson offers you cant go wrong. It was on sale and worth the price.

We have a 20 year old Kirby vacuum that we thought was picking up. You should have seen the amount of dirt this thing picked up even after using the Kirby.

With advertising hype making shoppers skeptical, it took me awhile to break down and buy a Dyson. Their advertising is NO HYPE. DYSON IS TRULY THE BEST SWEEPER I HAVE EVER USED! I am impressed with the quality and ease of use. This pet model is fantastic. It effortlessly picks up pet hair and its design allows easy emptying of the collection bin without touching the mess.

Purchased this vacuum for my wife. The other one we had was garbage. This thing rocks. From carpet to hardwood floors, zero issues with loss of suction. This vacuum looks super weird, but performs well. I also like the 5 year warranty that you get from dyson. Easy to register. Do it all online. Very happy with this because my wife is happy with this.

A little loud but it definitely sucks up everything!! Would definitely recommend.
