I was initially reluctant to spend the money on a Dyson Ball Animal 2 vacuum, even after reading independent reviews, but eventually decided to make the purchase. I am so glad I did, its by far the best vacuum that I have ever used.

My old regular vacuum bit the dust and I had to immediately get a new one. I've used regular Dysons before at different friends' houses and liked it then, so I decided to go with it when I had to get a new one. I love this vacuum - it is more powerful than I thought it would be!

We have been thinking about a new one for about a year and finally made the purchase. We should have done it a couple years ago. This vacuum is really great. We have two pets and it picks up all the hair they leave behind.

Decided to finally break down and buy this one and man... I'm loving it. Vacuuming is fun and effective. Does well picking up after our great Pyrenees lab mix

I saw this unit on sale, an without hesitation made my purchase. And I can honestly say I have found a joy in vacuuming now, who knew?? I would highly recommend.

I only have two rooms with carpet, bought attached for hardwood wish it had more power.Love Dyson but not sold on the product..

I've got two huskies and as you can imagine we needed a Dyson and bad! This was on sale for $299 during black Friday and we said why not?? And that's the thing, there isn't a reason not to. Just do it! My grandma can use this vacuum because this is so light.

Since this vacuum has so much power, it picks up a most if not all of the dirt that gets into the carpet. This is a must for pet owners. I just hate the power cable but battery operated ones won't have the same power.

The problem is in my den carpet. This is a newer carpet with a high pile, top end to be honest. The vacuum has so much suction that I cannot push it across the floor at times. When I get it moving, it takes two hands and I have to keep it in constant motion or it sticks to the floor.

They all have been good vacuums but they all have flaws. This one is super powerful. I really like the swivel. Thin enough to get under the couch or under a cabinet. However, there are just dumb vacuum things. Like the hose and attachments. When you pull out the hose to use a smaller attachment it kinks right where you hold it. So you get a loss of suction. Speaking of suction, try to use this on a high pyle carpet. You need the strength of a ox to move it. Then there is just the quality. When hanging back up the cord it feels like it will break. Emptying the container very flimsy. Very nice vacuum but a bunch of annoying things about it.
