great suction, but the wand is kind of a pain as it is not flexible at the end

We purchased our first Dyson 2nd hand. Loved it. It still works but we wanted something for the dog hair in our home, we gave the old one to our daughter and got this pet one. Love it love it love it. Super suction. Good on all our floors. Even the kitchen. ;-) For vacuums I will not purchase anything but Dyson. Its a name u can trust.

Bought for work warehouse on a good sale and after using will be buying one for my family in the near future. Great suction, self adjustment works well, might be an issue on shag rugs as I was not able to try those but flat and normal carpet surfaces this vacuum picked up everything.

This thing effortlessly tackles our whole apartment with ease. Including the steps and vinyl flooring. We were shocked by how much this thing actually sucks up. It was quite concerning actually. My wife and I love this vacuum and highly recommend it to everyone with pets.

This thing is GREAT for pet hair. We have a GSD and she sheds twice her body weight every day, this deals great with it, no problem. Treat it with kid gloves though, as the handle feels like a Cracker Jack prize from the mid 1970's. The hose, once extended feels like it could crimp shut and break if torqued to hard, and the ball does NOTHING for moving in tight corners, though I believe this is due to the high suction. But the fact that when you turn it on, dog hair moves across the hardwood floor like tumble weeds moving across the plains, and if the lighting is just right, you can see dog hair migrate toward it from under unreachable areas like under the couch and coffee table like bees to honey, ants to sugar, moths to flame and flies too..well you get what I'm trying to say. Treat it like it is made of glass, don't drop down the stairs and this thing is freaking AMAZING. I just wish the plastics used were of better quality. So...build quality: Less than good. Value: Expensive but it does MUCH better than others, including shop vacs. Ease of use: Not bad over hardwood, but due to the strong suction hard to maneuver on carpet.

I thought my carpet was clean, but there was so much dust and sand in the bottom, when I emptied it, I could not believe it

Amazing vacuum. Easy to setup out of the box. Simple to empty container after use. (my favorite function). I love the pushbutton transition between rugs and floors. The accessories provide many additional cleaning opportunities! Maneuverability is great. Worth every dollar, especially after I got it for halfprice in November.

This vacuum is completely amazing! My daughter and I both have waist length hair and it kills our vacuums, this vacuum doesn’t tangle up as bad on the roller and it’s suction is intense! The vacuum starts to pull you forward as you turn it on and when finished in a room it leaves the carpet looking almost brand new! A+++++

This is the best sweeper that I’ve ever owned. I have two other Dyson and now will not have anything else. Great for dogs!

very pleased. I have other vacuums I thought were picking up well and getting all the dog hair. This vacuum proved there is lots more in my carpets. It is heavy and an adjustment compared to the lightweight ones. This vacuum is worth the adjustment.

This vacuum has a strong suction which is great for carpeting and works well on wooden floor. No bag necessary and it is easy to empty the canister if necessary.The canister can be clean with water. All parts can be taken apart in this vacuum in the event it need to be clean.

The Dyson is a bit clunky to use I think, especially the wand, but it definitely handles the massive amounts of dog and cat hair on my floor and couches!

This is the second one I’ve gotten in five years. No, nothing was wrong with the first one. I just got screwed in the divorce and had to repurchase everything. The fact that Dyson covered all expenses on repairs on the first one I had, is the reason I stuck with them. Awesome service and powerful vacuum.

If the carpet is a low pile of good quality with a good quality pad, and it has not had much traffic, this thing sticks like crazy. Other than that, it works as advertised. Our previous Dyson was 15 plus years - one of the originals. The plastic finally gave way. This one is lighter, but harder to use on a thick, low pile carpet.

This is the best sweeper I've ever owned! It makes cleaning fun again! The Dyson reputation is just too hard to pass up!

I researched the Dyson product and although it was rated extremely high for suction (power) on bare surfaces, I was concerned about the suction on low-to mid pile carpet. The Dyson has been better than advertised - excellent and easier better than the Shark vacuum cleaner that we recently replaced.

This vacuum was an upgrade from the yellow ball I got 6 years ago! Great overall. Miss a few features from the old one.

Works great! After years if using other models that work good we finally stepped up to a dyson. We now know why they are so highly regarded. With multiple dogs we needed something that worked great and this fit the bill.
