We bought this for black friday. I would not pay full price for this vacuum, but I like the price we ended up paying for this. It works great going from carpets to tile, not loosing any suction power. I wish it had a headlamp, especially for areas that are darker then normal.

I have two dogs that shed and I am forever vacuuming dog hair. By the time I finish my weekly vacuuming the container is full. This is by far the best vacuum ever and I will buy another one when this has seen it's days. A definite must buy if you have animals, so worth the money

Excellent Vacuum! We wanted to like a less expensive Vacuum but after trying three other brands we ended up back with Dyson. You can not beat the quality and nothing comes close to the power! A must have for households with animals.

Wow. We were surprised at the amazing suction power of the Dyson Animal 2 vacuum! Boy-howdy does this vacuum really pick -up! The vacuum suction is so powerful we need to use the wand attachment for the thinner area rugs - it works great! We highly recommend this vacuum cleaner.

This is my second Dyson, my 1st lasted over 15 years. I still wish the hose was easier to pull when using attachments. This was the only reason I may replace it with the Shark for the removable canister. But dont take it as a knock this Dyson is a super cleaning machine.

I'm so pleased with this, it's just what I wanted for my birthday, hours of hoovering fun now await me.

Replaced my old Dyson Animal upright with this one. The suction is really strong, which is awesome. I am disappointed with some design changes to the vacuum. Instead of a foot release, you pull the handle back to use the vacuum and then put it back up until it catches. Sometimes it releases when I just want to roll the vacuum from one room to another and sometimes it doesn't catch when I put the handle back up. Its aggravating. Also, it's not that easy to get the wand back into the handle after use. If it hadn't been for these design changes, this would be a great vacuum.

I never thought I would rave about a vacuum cleaner, but this is it!! We will never buy any other vac.

I've been using Dyson products for some time and this one replaces a model that I've had for more than 10 years. I wanted the animal feature to draw more from the carpet. This one has more suction and I find it does a really great job. I don't know that anyone could find a better vacuum.

We have a Great Pyrenees and her hair DESTROYS any vacuum that isn’t a dyson within a year or two. This is our second Dyson, but the previous one we had lasted over 9 years. Sometimes you save money by spending a little more early on.

We were looking for an vacuum cleaner to keep upstairs, so we took our older Dyson upstairs and got another updated model for downstairs to keep up with the dog hair. Does a great job. I am always amazed at the amount of dog hair it picks up.

I bought this vacuum with the hopes of finding an appliance that would actually pick up deep dirt in our carpets as we have a small dog. As soon as I began using the vacuum, I noticed amazing power and on deep carpets, the actual color changes due to the removal of dirt.

This vacuum works very well. The suction is strong enough to keep the machine rooted to the floor. Shag carpet might be an issue, but it gets the job done on my regular height carpet.

I was really surprised on how well this vacuum worked. It was easy to assemble. I used it the first day I bought it and I was in shock. I totally recommend this Dyson - Ball Animal Vacuum. Everything it says it does, it does very well. Worth every penny!

We had an original animal Dyson vacume for 10 years prior to purchasing this one. A little clunky from the way the old one worked. I also liked the hose better on the old one. Still the best suction from other vacuums, and does a great job with dog and cat hair. Still happy with the purchase for the price.

I do love this vacuum. It picks up everything and works perfectly. The one complain I have is the hose. The way the hose attaches and come out of the main unit makes it really hard to use. I have seen several reviews where they say the hose cracks because of this and now I understand why.

Very nice vacuum, fairly priced, excellent warranty, and performs like a Dyson. Everything we thought it would be and recommend it to anybody with long haired pets that shed a lot.

Worth every penny. Bought it cause the handheld dysentery was no longer good enough to handle our needs and it is amazing picked up everything off carpet and floor and the no tangle brush works great on furniture

I owned an older dyson and loved it until it fell apart. This particular vacuum works so well, I wasn’t aware the old vacuum left so much dust behind. After a year and some it makes a squeaking noise but does not affect performance. I would buy this again!
