I was going to go with the Dyson vacuum below this unit but in the end I went with this unit. Glad I did. It's super powerful and I think has more power than other Dyson's. The Dyson quality is above and beyond EXCELLENT! It's on the high end in terms of cost, but well worth it.

This is my third Dyson and by far my favorite vacuum yet! It is light, powerful, and easy to use.

This vacuum is the very best we have had. It is amazing how much dirt it picks up - even after the area as been vacuumed by another brand of vacuum. The suction is in the professional category. It's a little expensive but the ultimate for a fully carpeted home.

This is our second Dyson vacuum purchase. The original one is still working after 10 years, but we wanted one with a power beater bar for carpets, and this model works even better than the original one. After using a Dyson for years, it's hard to find a better vacuum.

If you have pets, you want this one!!! With my first few uses it was filled up completely with cat fur and dust. I was shocked by how effective it was. I've had it about a month now and have cleaned out the filters. So far it was worked just as advertised. Would recommend this to anyone!

Purchased a few months ago for our all tile apartment with a couple area rugs. Works great, it’s the first Dyson I’ve purchased and have no complaints. Will probably go with a cordless one next time but it was on sale and it does work great.

This Vacuum is great for floors and carpets. Dyson is the best company for vacuums. However it is hard to get to small spots with this one. For that you might want to have the other Dyson product in your inventory as well.

We have carpet, wood, and tile flooring in our home (plus stairs), and this vacuum works wonders! It easily transitions to each, and is light enough that my kids can easily carry it upstairs to use it in their rooms.

We had to replace our old 15-year-old Dyson as it was dropped when we were moving. We would not replace it with anything else. We love and enjoy using the animal 2 upright. Works Fantastic.

This vacuum is really great except it doesn’t work on plush carpet or carpet with a thick pad under it. I called dyson about this and they said “our vacuums have too good of suction and won’t work on plush carpet”. Cool, put that on the box. Luckily I only have one room with plush carpet so overall I like this vacuum.

This is our second “animal”. Our first one is 13 years old and still going strong! We wanted a second because we moved and now have 2 floors to vacuum!! Suction is great and picks up all debris!! Highly recommend!!

I think the suction is great, best I so far! I own Both Dyson v6 cordless and yellow ball pet Dyson vac. I love my old heavier model Dyson pet Vac. And will be returning the the new Dyson. Feels cheaper and not as durable. I think runs just as great, just falls over doesnt lock into place and tools more difficult

This is a great vacuum. Although it’s pricey I got it on a price match deal for 399.99 and the suction power and versatility of it is worth the money. This is my first dyson and I love it so far picks up a lot my old cheap vacuum missed.

This vacuum has excellent suction. My biggest complaints are that it does not like to lock the back wheels in so it will stand and I can't stand the attachment hose. It's very hard to use. Overall a really great vacuum though

This is our second Dyson vacuum, we were quite pleased with the first(we still use, at 12 yrs old). But we also now have a blond short haired Siberian Husky that sheds alot and the older Dyson didn't quite do the job. So bought the "Animal" and it works fantastically.

We had a standard hoover that broke after about a year because of all the pet fur and whatnot. We splurged for the dyson on black friday, and i have to say i'm a bit disappointed. sure, it sucks harder, but i'm not sure it really matters. it doesn't seem as solid as i'd like, and it's constantly annoying to stand it up when you're vacuuming it doesn't lock in well. the biggest feature this is missing the the auto cord wrap up. it's awesome the cord is so long, but it's a pain to wind back up and even our crappy hoover had that feature. also, if you want to use the wand feature, you have to totally unwind the entire cord because it holds the wand down, which again is annoy to wrap up. overall, for the price, i'd look elsewhere.

I bought this vacuum for a very good price. It has great suction and moves easily. The one thing I was disappointed in was the attachments are very hard to use, almost impossible, for most uses. I have had to go back to my old vacuum for this. Still a very good vacuum for the price.

I've had this vacuum for a few weeks now and it works like a charm on all surfaces. Definitely a worthwhile investment for any pet owner. Pros: - works on any surface - powerful motor to tackle any level of cleaning challenge - cleans pet hair with ease - small and compact Cons: - a bit pricey (pick it up when it's on sale)

My Dyson gave up after 20+ years and I knew I wanted a new Dyson to replace it. I was a bit disappointed that only the BALL version was available. I don't find it as easy to maneuver as they want you to believe. However, the suction is amazing and I still believe that this is the best vacuum product available.
