Setup takes a solid 30 minutes, but once you get the device up and running it is no doubt a superior device. I was able to vacuum most tough-to-reach areas and crevasses with ease. I definitely recommend this device!

So far so good, only one peeve and that is adjusting the vacuum into the upright position. Our old animal was a bit heavier and shaped into position a bit easier. The animal is very good vacuum and we are now in the third generation.

I needed lighter vacuum, my old Dyson was at least 20 years old and getting to be too heavy for me. The new animal ball is easy to use, much lighter and picks up dog hair without a problem.

in the 57 years i have been on this planet, never have i had a vacuum that works as well as this one, its only flaw is the mobility of the vacuum when not in use, a small glitch in an otherwise awesome machine

Enjoyed using this vacuum. Strong suction and picks up things in carpet on one pass instead of multiple passes with our old vacuum. We had another dyson before this and this one picks up much more dust and hair etc.

We replaced an older Dyson that had been great and this is 100x better for our dogs and all floor surfaces. If you're on the fence about the cost trust me you won't regret it, we have children and long haired dogs and the floors have never been better

This vacuum is a beast and works super well. I dislike how loud it is. I also dislike the way the edger tube extends (with the non flexi part) as well as putting it back on the vacuum. I have pinches fingers multiple times.

I have a Dalmatian and he gets hair everywhere. This vacuum has been great for getting the hair that works its way deep into the carpet. Also pulls up a large amount of the fine dust and dirt from the dog going in and out.

There is a reason as to why Dyson has a great reputation. It works as advertised and the results speak for themselves in the home. When run side by side another brand, the Dyson picked up carpet dirt that the other brand missed.

I love the amount of suction this vacuum has and it's incredibly easy to maneuver while you vacuum despite being heavy. It was more than I would normally spend on a vacuum, but it was worth it.

I have been thinking about buying this vacuum cleaner for quite a while. Our other vacuum stopped working and this one was on sale. So happy that i bought it, it works great even my husband noticed.

Anything Dyson is GREAT! This is the second Animal Upright Vacuum I bought and its just awesome machine; love the transition from carpet to tile without losing any suction!

We have one already that is three years old. We decided to get another for our downstairs. Works great and is quieter than the older vacuum. We really like the Dyson products. The two we have do a great job picking up dog hair.

Dyson has been a favorite for some time now. I own 2. This one and a smaller vesion. This one is a beast and I recommend these for anyone who wants a great vacuum

Upgraded from our old dyson. Wow, what a difference. This is a very powerful machine. It leaves nice lines in the carpet and picks up so much pet hair! Very impressive.

I've only owned the Dyson Ball Animal 2 vacuum cleaner for a month now. So far it's been great at picking up the dirt and dog hair from my carpets. My first Dyson Ball animal vacuum cleaner lasted 6 years. The second Dyson Ball Animal vacuum cleaner, I purchased 16 months ago, lost the suction power gradually until nothing would draw up:( Thank goodness I had an extended warranty that I purchased from Best Buy. I was told this was a "newer model"...not like my short lived broken Dyson vacuum. I hope that's true and that Dyson worked out the problems from their previous model. If this Ball Animal Upright doesn't last longer than 16 months, I may need to look into a different manufacturer.

Bought this to replace an older model that was about 10 years old. This vacuum really does what it says. It has a superior suction power than our older vacuum and the longer power cord is a plus! The larger dust bin is also great!
