Got this for Xmas. Always heard good reviews about it and now I know why. Lightweight and easy to use. Easy to get under and around furniture and doesn’t take up alot of space storing

Dyson is dependable and rugged! It comes with every tool possible to get into the tiniest of cracks. Great investment!

it works absolutely perfect ! it gets the smallest amount of dust in the vacuum and it works very well on my carpet. i recommend to everyone really.

The Dyson - Ball Animal 2 is very easy to vacuum with. It cleans up the cat hair and dirt on all of my floors from the carpets to the linoleum flooring.

This is best Vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. The Dyson animal has very strong suction for cleaning rugs. It also works well on hard floors.

I did extensive research before deciding on this vacuum. It's pricier than the others, but worth every penny. The suction is so strong, it picks up dust and debris that is not visible. I love my Dyson.

Seems to be a great Machine, this one is replacing an Animal Dyson that has run flawlessly for many years & still does!

This is by far the best vacuum I have ever owned. I am amazed by what it picks up. You can really see the difference in the carper before and after. Very happy!

It is a good vacuum and works well, but it seems to be pretty cheaply made, as well as that it doesn’t always want to stand up after use.

I was amazed by how much dust was sucked from my carpet. We were using the Kenmore canister vacuum prior and I thought it was a good vacuum until I bought the Dyson. I love that it’s not bulky as the canister and the suction power.

I am NOT happy with this machine. First of all, I previously owned a canister vac but unfortunately you can’t seem to buy one in a store, so I settled for an upright. It’s awkward to use, it’s heavy and it doesn’t get as far under my furniture as I’m used to. And the attachments are so cheap! And, why are there NO WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS??? You get pictures!! So you have to guess what you’re doing or go online and watch a freakin video to know what you’re doing. But the biggest problem is the hose. It won’t stay out while I’m vacuuming. I get a workout using this thing just trying to keep the hose from retracting! It actually caught my thumb and it started bleeding! And I’ve seen other reviews stating the same problem. If all you’re going to use it for is simply vacuuming your living room floor it’s fine, but vacuuming stairs is a nightmare. It’s got great suction, but be very careful that you don’t suck up your curtains a or anything else near your vacuum. My previous machine had a lever that if you opened it, it reduced some of the suction. I rarely review things that I buy but I am so displeased with this purchase I had to review it. I know other people who own Dysons and like them but for the life of me I can’t figure out why. I get that it is a disposable world and nothing is made to last. Everything in the store looked like junk, but I thought I was buying the “better” junk. Would never buy again and would not recommend this product!

Had the original animal and it does not compare to this one! Excellent vacuum you will not be disappointed especially when you can get it on sale!

This is, hands down, the best vacuum I've ever owned (and I've owned a certain German brand of cannister vacuum that's even more expensive). It's amazing the amount of dirt it can pick up, and the copious fur that my dog sheds is no problem for it at all. The suction is tremendous, but you should know what that means: 1) It is really grabbing ahold of your rug, so it may be harder to push than what you're used to; 2) You don't want to use it at full power on a handmade oriental rug, because it will suck up the fibers. But there's so much to love. No bags, and no replacement filters (just wash them every couple of months).

yes, 5-stars, this vacuum really picks up the dirt and debris in a high traffic area. It reaches places the other vacuums don't. Reliable and quiet and like I said, it really sucks

I have two dogs that are shedding like crazy right now and the dyson helps us keep the house clean. It picks up the dog hair so well. It is very easy to use the attachments and it runs very smoothly.

Great vacuum for getting up pet hair, but depending on how much your pet sheds, you have to empty the container frequently. Also, the length of the hose for the wand could be longer, but much improved pick up power from it's predecessor.

I have owned 2 shark vacuums prior to this and the dyson pulls much more dirt and pet hair out of the carpet than my previous vacs works great so far

This is the best vacuum you will ever use. Dyson does not loose suction and never disappoints. The investment is worth it because you will never have to buy another.
