I have had Dyson vacuums for many years . This Animal 2 is the best yet . With 270 AW of suction power this vacuum exceeds all others including the Cinetic models ( at 180 AW ) .

Very powerful vacuum. Strongly recommend especially to pet owners. Fabric attachment gets all hair of the coach in seconds.

Love it on my tile flooring and carpet, only issue I have is with one of my area rugs it doesn’t flow over easily. I’m assuming it’s theway the area rug is piled. But all in all it’s a very good vacuum.

I’ve only had this vacuum for about three months, but it has become a must in my house for my beagle. He sheds like none other, and this has been a life saver!

We have a mix of hardwood, carpet and tile in our home and the Animal 2 has worked great on every surface. Simple to use and worth the money.

I love the powerful suction of this vacuum. I wish it would have a level change for floor and different thickness carpets. On the area rug the suction is so strong it’s a workout to do it.

Effortless to assemble and I am elderly. The pickup suction is awesome. Daughter has one 10 years old still working great.

Really strong. Good quality. The attachment brush is good for steps. However, the hose is really stiff and it is hard to use the attachment brush.

I had the old Dyson animal ball the first one got it over 10 years ago. This new version is more powerful and has better Maneuverability. So far very impressive.

Not as good as the first Dyson Animal I owned. However, this one weighs a lot less and still has powerful suction. It just feels cheap. As long as it cleans, I’m good!

This Dyson replaces one we've had for 15years. We've always been pleased with the old one, but the new one clearly out performs it. Hope it lasts as long.

I'm not sure if I got a defective product or they all come like this, but my vacuum seems to heat up my carpet very quickly and makes a few squeaking noises. Not the biggest deal as long as the vacuum works, but the fact that I have to question it is enough to knock a star. That and the fact that i think the quality of the accessories lacks a bit. Regarding its main purpose, the vacuum is excellent at picking up small items for low surfaces though I probably wouldn't use it on a shaggy rug or carpet as it is very low to the floor. Still, im a dyson fanatic and probably can't switch brands after this.

This Vacuum Is great!!! I highly recommend for anyone with carpet! Not too loud but not too silent either. Great purchase and would purchase again in the future

5th one I have owned. Clunky -had to remove parts to make it work. That was advised by the Dyson Service department. Handle always releasing from the ball. It is a good thing this wasn't my first Dyson purchase as it would have been my last for the money spent.

Amazing vacuum suction. I recommend highly if you are looking for a vacuum. Price is high but worth it.

I was thrilled when I bought this. Used it on carpet and was disgusted to see what was left after vacuuming with my old sweeper. Two days later got new Ultra Soft Carpet, a good brand, and can’t get it to move. It has no way to raise the level for a carpet that is more plush. I could use it on my hardwood floor, but that’s a small portion of my home. Who wants to have to switch between two sweepers, not me. I would love to give this one star due to my frustration and apparent waste of money. But gave it three because where it works, it works really well.
