Powerful vacuum but made with cheap parts

This one is way more powerful but all materials seems cheap. Using the hose is a challenge, you will be dragging in the floor the vacuum as the hose is has a strong spring in the middle. Looks like dayson spend all in the vacuum system (powerful) but created around the most cheap materials and missing the ergonomics on the ease of use.

Posted .Hello Felix, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your review. We're sorry to learn that you found the hose to be challenging to use. With regard to the hose, I can confirm that we would essentially expect the hose to become more flexible with time and use. A few tips we can provide would be attaching your accessories directly to your hose, as this will also help expedite stretching the elasticity of the hose. Dyson vacuums are engineered with versatility in mind and attachments may be used on either the wand or directly on the machine itself for added convenience. Also, when stretching the hose out we would recommend starting by stretching the part of the hose that is nearest to the vacuum first when extending this part to clean your home. We would actually recommend checking to ensure the wand is not obstructed and that the hose is not sucking into itself as the hose is not something we would expect to be an issue during use.
Also, rest assured, Dyson machines are made from polycarbonate ABS, which is same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. They are tough, so we subject them to 50,000 hours of testing and 550 individual tests – all to ensure that they can withstand a lifetime’s hard use. Crazy suction!

Unable to take it in for repairs due to the pandemic, we bought this and did curb side pick up. Our family room carpet is a little over a year old and we have thick padding. With this Dyson, it has to much suction for this room. It is very hard to move across the carpet in that area. Other then that, the Dyson is nice! Hoping it lasts as long as the first Dyson

No one can believe I have a pet at all bc my house doesn’t smell like cat litter or dog and I give credit to my Dyson for this. Also, there is enough noticeable hair that if looking for it, you may think I have one pet. This is my 5th Dyson. I was talked into buying one by a sears salesman many years ago and I love them more with each new one I get.
