Very happy with this purchase overall. Only thing that is a little bit of a pain is when putting the hose back on the body of the vacuum cleaner after separating for accessory use as it doesn't always slide back in easily.

Great cleaning power
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Dyson Animal 2 to replace a 7 year old Dyson Animal that still worked because I didn't like the way the attachments connected on the old one. This vacuum has a wider motor head and slightly longer power cord. The hose can be separated from the solid tube, making it much easier to use than it's predecessor. You still have the option of using the solid tube for reaching higher locations.

We have multiple dogs, so deal with lots of animal hair. So, I needed a vacuum that was going to provide the same quality as the one we had. This one definitely lives up to the previous Dyson, if not exceeds my expectations! The suction is awesome and it takes me less time to vacuum now! I will never stray from Dyson.

I had that vacuum up until recently, after 5 years I finally decided it was time to retire it. I bought that same vacuum in its new seat model and it is just as good as the last. I shed almost as much as my Golden Retriever and it keeps my house spotless.
