Does what it is suppose to do and works flawlessly.

It has such a huge suction that my rugs are clean!

This is my second one of these, had the first for several years. When it finally needed to be replaced, tried a different brand and absolutely hated it, gave it to husband to use in his shop. Then went out and bought the same one I had before. Definitely a Dyson fan!!!

User friendly attachments. Great value for the price.

This is a fantastic tool to have. It is amazing in how efficient it is and how much cat fur it picks up each time I vacuum with it. Well worth the money and the last Dyson I bought lasted over 13 years and I didn't really take care of it very well.

This thing is a beast. I have a large dog and 2 cats and the amount of hair it picks up is impressive. I always thought the hype was jist that but this thing is worth every penny. The carpets look new and I highly recommend this.

I suspected that my Shark vacuum was not picking up all the dog hair. After I received my Dyson, I first vacuumed the carpet with the Shark then with the Dyson. There was an additional half a canister full of dog hair in the Dyson that the Shark failed to pick up.

I purchased my Dyson upright vacuum without testing it first and wasn't sure if I'd done the right thing. However, I was pleasantly surprised the first time I used it. The power suction is great and I was impressed with the easy maneuverability around furniture in the room. This is an awesome vacuum.

This is my 3rd dyson and it does not disappoint. It seems quieter than my DC56 was and picks up even more. Collection bin seems a little smaller but a reasonable size. Cord may be a little shorter too. As with all my Dysons, I wish they had onboard attachments.

My daughter bought me the dyson vacuum for Christmas. I loved it so much I bought her the same exact one. We both have dogs and this vacuum picks up everything on the 1st pass. I am amazed after vacuuming when I look at the rug and it looks like a brand new rug. Love this dyson vacuum!!!!

For the price, this vacuum should work perfectly but it doesn't. I have what is considered low pile carpet and almost couldn't push this vacuum on my carpet. I looked online for remedies and tried all that I could find, but nothing worked. We've had an Dyson Animal for 10 years and it finally broke. I thought I'd just buy the Animal 2 and be done with it. It really forms a tight seal on the carpet and because of the suction, it's very hard to push. While still vacuuming the first bedroom the roller brush motor got so hot it kept thermally shutting down. I chatted with Dyson and they suggested I use the 4" upholstery brush to vacuum the whole house, really? I ended up using the head from the old Animal and was barely able to vacuum with it. The roller brush motor on the old head never did thermally shut down. It has an incredible amount of suction and prevents me from using it on my carpet. I talked to technical support thinking they'd have a solution and they didn't. I would have thought after all the complaints, Dyson would supply some kit to fix the problem, but they don't. It seems to me it would be smarter to make a kit to send out rather than losing a sale, but nope. I took it back and bought a Shark Vertex.

This was a replacement for my original bought March, 2019. I guess the protection plan was worth it-no questions asked. It was replaced with the latest model. The Beater bar quit working on my original purchase. Either way I love the replacement and loved my original purchase until it quit. I believe it was a fluke.
