Going from the original Dyson animal to the Dyson animal 3 is a night and day difference. I know this will sound crazy but this vacuum almost has to much suction. Depending on the setting you place it on some carpet almost can’t be vacuumed and the setting needs to be turned down a notch or two. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and look forward to having this vacuum for years to come.

Works well and doesn't fill up as fast as the previous vacuum. It gets the hair up and I haven't noticed any issues with performance. It takes a bit longer to fill up due to the larger container which is nice. The other one filled up quickly. The Dyson sucks it up and really compacts it in the container which allows me to go longer with it and get more.

Picks up dirt good. Easy to move around and attachments are easy to put on and off.

By gas the best vacuum we’ve ever had. Works great on carpet and vinyl flooring. We have dogs that shed and it works awesome.

Like all the other reviews, it is kinda heavy to push, but the suction clean makes up for it.

This is a gret vacuum. The cord is long which makes me able to get all of my basement done without having to unplug it. The vacuum hose is also a huge plus. Its super long as well so i can vacuum my stairs without having to deal with the base. The two issues i have, i hate having to unravel the whole cord to get the hose off. Small complaint but it is annoying. The other issue is how it looks. God is it hideous. Other than that, its been an excellent vacuum.

I love this dyson vacuum cause of the strong suction and also easy to use. Planning to buy their cordless vacuum.

Amazing vacuum! We have two dogs, and one of them is a golden retriever… They shed a lot. But ever since we got this vacuum, it’s super powerful with the suction and love the pet grooming attachment too.

Best vaccuum I ever purchased. This thing sucks up a lot of dust. You don’t know how dirty your floors are until you use this vacuum and see how much stuff gets sucked up compared to the old vacuum. A little pricey, but at least it’s truly the best vacuum I’ve ever purchased. Great for low pile carpet, high pile rugs and laminate floors.

Bottom Line this is the 3rd Dyson in over 16 years The first lasted 10 years , the second was a rebuilt unit that went 6 years , There wasn't even an option as to the new unit Dyson Hands Down

It cleans really well but the level of plastic in this thing for the price point is a concern long term I dunno how well it will hold up, but for now it does suck up stuff out of the carpet way better then any other vacuum I've owned, I just dont care for how the handle feels when pushing it, it feels almost flimsy
