Great use for first time pet owners

Specifically, she sheds a lot, but I don’t like the fact that the instructions. We’re kind of confusing, but it does take a while to assemble, but if you have carpets, I suggest you buy it because it actually in one swipe of the whole house, depending bigger small. It will take out all the pet hair plus anything it thinks that it needs to suck up and it’s a lot and it will show you a lot when you remove and dispose of the hair or whatever is inside.

It has awesome suction and is quite mobile. My only complaint is the hose extension. It is wound so tight with wire inside the hose that it's extremely difficult to extend the hose and be able to use the wand extension to get into high/tight spaces. The hose is constantly pulling and trying to go back into the machine itself. Fix this and I may buy another one in the future.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This vacuum is truly the best as the cord is long, the handle reaches around 14 feet up on the ceiling to suck up spider webs, the head is smaller so it is very maneuverable, the waste is easier to dump and it doesn’t stick closed (like the previous animal version), and it is not that heavy to lift! I just wish there was a wider tool with frills to get under the fridge and on top of window frames and a very narrow flexible one to go in deep crevices of the car. Absolute powerhouse!

Dyson for 20 yrs now purchased this one, because really isn’t any other option as this seems to be their top upright as of now. Bothering new or improved has come out in a while for the uprights I also own their rechargeable but not the best choice for carpet. Uprights are the best for carpet and pt hair! I wouldn’t purchase any other vaccum. However,I have noticed Dyson has made their parts cheaper and I always make sure to get extra warranties as it’s expressive to service when it breaks. Amazing vaccum, just wish Dyson would improve the quality as it use to be years ago!

My carpet was more dirty than I thought :(

I know this will sound crazy but this vacuum almost has to much suction. Depending on the setting you place it on some carpet almost can’t be vacuumed and the setting needs to be turned down a notch or two. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and look forward to having this vacuum for years to come.

Picks up as much hair as a regular Dyson ball does but this is AFTER the regular Dyson has ALREADY vacuumed over the same spot. Has way more suction! Knowing this, I would buy it even if I didn't have a dog.

Its a really good vacuum

It gets the hair up and I haven't noticed any issues with performance. It takes a bit longer to fill up due to the larger container which is nice. The other one filled up quickly. The Dyson sucks it up and really compacts it in the container which allows me to go longer with it and get more.

Great vacuum so far!

Hoping this new model will do the same. The cleaning head of this vacuum is a little smaller in width than the previous Animal 2 vacuum which is great because it reaches tight spots that i use to not be able to reach. I still prefer corded vacuums over cordless for whole house cleaning of approx. 2000 sqft. every week with 6 indoor/outdoor cats and it keeps up just fine.
