Best vacuum I have ever owned, I will most certainly be a Dyson customer for life. What a great deal, too!

My second Dyson, had the first for 17+ years. The plastic is a little cheaper than my original but it still works great! I also have a Dyson stick vac- love it! And have purchased Dyson vacs for my kids. Great machine!

After owning a shark for seven years that finally gave out on me, I thought I'd give Dyson a try. I'm honestly appalled by the differences. The plastic for the Dyson is thin and flimsy, and the "ball" blows air that sends dog hair flying around my house. Functionality is horrible -- you have to use force to make it stand up, stop everything and bend over to change floor types, and go through a multi-step process to use the hose. The vacuum is also hard to maneuver in anything but a straight line and wouldn't go over my floor vents, so I have to lift it each time. The hose, when attached to the handle, sucks air when the vacuum is upright and sucks in my hair and clothing any chance it gets. Good luck trying to roll it somewhere that requires going over an uneven surface because the wheel system deploys, and the head slams to the ground... why would anyone want this? The process of vacuuming is already unpleasant enough without a machine that makes it that much harder. I went back and bought the new Shark to compare side by side and found the Shark to pick up more than the Dyson. With the lift-away feature, the Shark also reaches more areas than the Dyson. The only good thing about this product is the dog grooming tool. Save yourself the headache (and money) and buy a shark.

With Dyson it's proven that you get what you pay for. It's a great machine and was exactly what my husband wanted. We did a test vacuum on the living room rug and then went behind it with the Dyson. We had been leaving behind so much dog hair. Unbelieveable.

Great vacuum I just missed the automatic, adjusting cleaner head on the animal 2. On the animal 3 you have to bend down and change floor height with a sliding switch on the cleaner head.

The vacuum cleans well in typical Dyson style, but functionally, we don’t like the “ball.” It is difficult to maneuver and is just generally clunky. Also, the handle does not stay locked in the upright position, making it difficult to step away from the vacuum when needed. I would buy another Dyson, just not this style.

Works well but so heavy. I thought I would never get the cleaning head to stay attached. YouTube videos were necessary to get it put together since the written instructions were useless.

I absolutely love this vacuum! I have a short hair boxer an she sheds a lot , this vacuum sucks up a ton of unseen dander an pet hair ! It also breaks up any hair that normally gets tangled. It’s worth every penny !

Not impressed. The head is much smaller than my previous Dyson. No foot release, which is extremely annoying due to the head releases when you are trying to carry it. Suction seems less powerful than my previous purple model. And as typical, the tubing is difficult to keep pulled out while in use. No issues with maneuvering.

Absolutely love my Dyson. I have both a dog and a cat and it picks up the hair without any issues or tangling like I used to deal with on my old vacuum.

Bought an animal about 18 months ago. It started having issues and i didnt know it was still under warranty so i ordered this one. Same dogs same flooring but the head doesn't have to be cleaned every other use. Love this new one so far.

Love it! It cleans like no vacuum I've had before, wonderful for a home with multiple pets. Great info provided by the Dyson Rep at Best Buy.

I really wanted to love this vacuum. The vacuum itself is short and really heavy to push around. The suction and no hair wrap brush head are the only positives but not enough to keep. Returned it.

From the day I bought it , I have had trouble getting this thing to lean back. It constantly gets stuck and feels like it will break if you try and force it. I’m extremely frustrated at this point with this thing getting stuck every other week that I wish I could just get my money back at this point.

It’s amazing! The dirt that it pulls out of the carpet is unbelievable. I would highly recommend Purchasing this vacuum if you want a deep clean every use.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS VACUUM! The pet tool is my favorite and as long as I can get my dogs to sit still, I hope they will love it too.

This is my 2nd Dyson. I have 3 hairy doggos and I usually purchase a new vacuum every few years. High volume user here. The stick attachment is slightly awkward but the suction strength is why I purchsed this one. Solid, reliable vacuum.

Says it’s the best for pet hair and so far it’s been good for that. The base won’t stay up when you wheel it around. That’s the only down side to this vacuum.
