It’s a really great vacuum cleaner! I love Dyson! It’s quite heavy, but powerful. I’ve never thought my home could be so clean!

Always used Dyson and this one was even better than the other one gets pet hair and dirt with ease. MUST HAVE!!

This is my third Dyson. I've used cheaper vacuums, and you get what you pay for. Pros - The hair cutting feature integrated into beater bar is nice (no more disassembly to clean), additional accessories are a plus. Nice long cord. Cons - The extendable hose spring is too strong and causes the vacuum to slide into you while using (on non-carpet). This has always been the case with the Dyson.

I got a Dyson vacuum a few years ago and loved it until it stopped working. I tried a few other brands but they didn’t measure up to Dyson so I got this gem and it is a GAME CHANGER! The suction is immaculate and by having so much carpet in my home, I truly feel that my floors are much cleaner now

I’ve always putchased more affordable vacuums and always wished I could invest in a Dyson. Finally after years of wishing, i was able to but one! Dang, what an awesome investment. Well worth every penny and never going back to other brands. Dyson fan for life!

Great tool. It has great suction power. Almost too much that the wand it hard to use.

Strong suction and easy to use. When trumying to use the hose for attachments the suction makes the hose stiff and somwhat difficult to maneuver without the vacuum moving around a lot.

Awesome vacuum, this is my 4th dyson and it may be the best yet. I mainly use thus upstairs in my house and it does an awesome job picking up everythkng. I would definitely buy another if ibhad the need.

The Dyson - Ball Animal 3 has fantastic suction - as someone else said in their review - it could suck the chrome off a bumper - which is definitely it's best side. I am not completely happy with other aspects of vacuum - the ball design and the design of the hose. The ball does not lend itself to a particularly stable foundation. If you do not make a habit of firmly "planting" the handle/top part of the vacuum to the base in an upright position when not vacuuming, the vacuum will topple over. The ball and the stiffness of the hose also make it extremely difficult to vacuum stairs. (The hose is also difficult to set back in place - it's does not snap in easily and it takes multiple tries to put it back into place, when you want to use the vacuum on your floor. Perhaps the hose will loosen with time, but the vacuum easily topples over when the hose is extended and the ball just adds to the instability. I also have this issue when extending the hose to vacuum crown moldings or window tracks. I got a couple of good bruises on my legs and nicks to my walls the first few times I used the vacuum with the hose extended - extremely irritating!!! Because the suction is so good (on carpeted surfaces as well as wood and tile), and the spinning brush does not collect hair (neither mine nor my pet's), I will be keeping the vacuum. But after leg bruises and nicks to my walls, I did purchase a second and completely different vacuum on Amazon that has almost as good suction (and three levels of suction), does not have the instability issue on the stairs and when cleaning the dust from window tracks. This other vacuum also breaks down to a much smaller size which also lends it well to dry messes on counters and craft workspaces and also my car (it has a rechargeable battery pack). If you do not have stairs and are willing to work with the instability of the ball, you cannot beat the suction of the Dyson. But truthfully, had I bought the other vacuum first (which was on sale by a lot, and was half the price of the Dyson (also on sale), I would not have bought the Dyson.

I like the brand and this is my second Dyson, original still works but the hand held portion is stuck and since it’s old I wanted a new one.

Okay so this thing is very quirky out of the box, It definitely has a learning curve. but..... Once you understand it, its awesome. I love this vacuum. Definitely worth the money and the attachments actually perform most excellent.

Beast of a vacuum. Strongest stuff out there. BB warranty is also excellent and they replace the product no questions asked if there are problmes.

Excellent performance. Quickly removes dirt and pet hair and comes with special pet grooming tools. Love it

Love this vacuum. Sucks up more dirt out of my deeper carpet than previous vacuum. I'm shocked at how much cleaner my carpets feel. The hose attachment articulation could be better. Its hard to wield and get into desired position. Aside from that, perfect.

This thing is awesome. We bought this for our short term rental unit and it has been great. Easy to control. The suction is so strong that it can get stuck on the carpet and must adjust the floor setting.

Works as advertised!!! We have a Golden Retriever and could never completely get rid of her fur from our carpets until now. The Dyson does the job and then some. I’d highly recommend the Dyson for any dog lover.

We had our old Dyson for over a decade and have had other vacuums as well. Pleased we upgraded to this Dyson, the power and performance surpasses most other brands.

Pros: This is a very strong vacuum cleaner. It gets dirt and dog and cat hair out better than any vacuum I've had. The 35' cord means that you don't have to keep plugging and unplugging as frequently. Cons: The vacuum requires more muscle to push on rugs than any I've used. The handle is difficult to latch and unlatch as it doesn't have a foot pedal release. The hose is very stiff making using it for cleaning upholstery, baseboards, etc. very awkward. It's pickup strength is its strong point.

When i got home with this vacuum i instantly went through and redid the vacuuming of the house. It was insane how much this found that my old vacuum didn’t! It got all that fur to where i didn’t feel like i was walking through a third dog on every floor. Forever a Dyson fan here!
