We had one finally give out after 8 years and purchased this model since we have a ton of fur babies. We love the attachment that allows us to brush our pets & suck up all the pet hair. The vacuum itself is powerful and is doing a better job than our old Dyson Animal machines.

Thanks to the massive ball design that gives a next-generation look. The powerful upright deep cleans carpets with ease, glides across hard floors, and has effective attachments to clean stairs, crevices, and upholstery.

The new head design has three settings, one of which allows air flow in so that you can vacuum high pile carpet with ease. Best vacuum on the market. Period.

Power Vacuum Machine

I was shocked on all the dirt, and dust is picked up. The De-tangling feature on the head brush is amazing, have not had one problem with it. Overall excellent upright vacuum machine for people who have large houses with lots of carpet.

Best vacuum out there!

The suction brought my frequently walked on carpets back to life! The dog doesn't like the grooming tool however, it works!

So every 5 years they give up on you. Still buying them because until then they are great to use. Except this one. Hard to maneuver, heavy and cheap looking. Suction is good. I will give this to my college kid and get something else for myself.

This thing sucks!

I had no idea my 13 year old vacuum worked so poorly until I bought this thing. Normally, I can vacuum my 600 sf of carpet with one canister of my old vacuum. After using the Dyson, I had to empty the canister 3 times in one pass! Gross. Now, the floor is continually much cleaner as we vacuum once a week and fill up the canister only once every use. I'm not sure the "extra" is worth it over the standard version as we don't use the extra tools but it is nice to have them around. Using the tools is a snap as the handle unplugs easily and quickly gets to work. The 2 things I don't care for are the amount of plastic and the kickstand. Despite being impressively engineered it still feels kind of cheap due to the plastic. It would be heavy with aluminum parts (e.g., buttons, connections, etc.) but I would pay the premium as I don't mind the weight. The kickstand only works to keep it upright when it's not moving. If you're moving it the kickstand usually pops up and the head falls. Having a button to engage the kickstand wouldn't be a big deal. It's annoying but not a big deal. Overall, I'm really impressed. I would buy another Dyson any day.

I would brush him a few times a day and still have white tumbleweeds in the house. Now with the pet attachment the amount of fur has been significantly reduced. The only down side is the handles plastic feels cheap.

Had 2 cats - this sucked up all the hair. Attachments are great too. Only complaint is cord is 30+ ft long and will not stay wound on holder during use, so you have to hold it, pretty inconvient when using hand-held wand/hose.

It’s been worth every penny. Can be and us used on both carpet and tile. No need to buy filters as it is reusable, all you have to do is rinse them and let it dry. Does amazing with pet hair

Excellent suction!

No suction after only 2 years! So I researched extensively any decided on this Dyson. Somewhat pricey but WORTH IT! Easy, quick assembly, picks up great - no more litter issues and my floors look great. HIGHLY recommend this vacuum.

( I lived & worked in Yorkshire for over 25 yrs! and so did he!) & Best Buy gave me a $75 birthday gift Cert. that I used ! I have always found Dyson Vacuums to be worth their design and they are getting even better! this is my 3rd Vacuum Ball One in UK and then #2 here in USA Best Buy and Dyson win!!
