Beyond amazing helps a lot my dog hair and keeping clean, this is my second one in ten years

First time purchasing a Dyson and I couldn't be happier! Picks up everything with no problem. Hose is great for hard to reach places, and the nooks and crannies. Haven't tried the pet grooming tool but am excited to try it out. Will only be purchasing Dyson from here on out.

Dyson Vacuum is expensive but worth the price. It is very easy to use and love all the accessories it has come with. Overall a very good vacuum cleaner.

I previously had a shark lift-a-way professional for many years that was showing signs of time and I wanted a newer vacuum. I did a ton of research and watched youtube videos comparing and reviewing the newest vacuums. I had of course heard of dyson before but never used any of their products due to the increased price over competitors but everything was pointing me to this vacuum being one of the best currently available. I've now had this vacuum for a little over 2 years and I regret my purchase. My very first thought when unpacking and putting it together was wow this thing feels cheap. While it hasn't broken, yet, the plastic feels incredibly cheap and flexes with the slightest force. I honestly feel like I'm going the break the handle just from normal use. Compared to my shark the handle/hose that comes out is poorly designed and frustrating to use. One of the selling points of dyson vacuums is the ball roller. I just can't understand why anyone would think this is better then even the cheapest vacuums I've ever used. It's just plain worse in every aspect. It's not smooth, sometimes one or both sides won't roll at all, it adds a strange bulk, and worst of all the tiny cheap plastic back wheels are only good at keeping the unit standing. They unlock over the slightest of bumps, like going from hardwood to carpet, and then you have to overextend the whole unit away from you to get them back in place. Besides how often do people swerve around objects while vacuuming? Pretty sure it's a lot of straight back and forth movements which any halfway decent vacuum can do just fine. The suction is very strong which should be generally a good thing however, even on the highest floor setting, it is sometimes too strong. I wish there was a higher floor setting or a way to reduce suction if needed, something my old shark could do with a twist valve on the handle. The roller is amazing and the only real positive thing I have to say about this vacuum. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and my wife has long hair. I've had zero tangles or issues with it. Oh and the flat stair tool that attaches to the unit, not the separate one, is pretty good. I moved my old shark out to the garage to use till it died while I cleaned my garage. I treated it like crap and the dang thing is still going and every time I use it I wish I had just bought a newer shark. Shark was just coming out with de-tangling heads when I bought this and weren't getting as good reviews as the dyson version at the time. Today I'm going out to purchase a new shark and will be listing this dyson on Craigslist.

Absolutely incredible vacuum!! I have a dog and a cat and this gets all the hair off the floors and the rugs!

Works great, if you want a really good deep clean on your carpets this is the one to get. Pulled so much more out after one cleaning than the others we’ve had. And it still pulled more after having the carpet professionally cleaned by carpet cleaners a few days before

Great vac. Lots of power. It takes a few minutes to get used to how the ball works. I do like that the tools reach the ceiling without having to pick the unit up off the floor. My only complaint is when you put it in the upright position you have to make sure it locks or it will fall back. The suction will change like it is locked even though it is not. This is the only reason for 4 stars.

Very powerful. This is my first Dyson. I have used Oreck and Shark in the past but they were not as powerful as this Dyson. However you give up some flexibility with the power since the ball limits you from going under some items. Still trying to get acclimated to the hand tools attachments.

I heard so many people talking about how much they loved their Dyson. When my vacuum no longer worked, I contemplated over and over on which one to get. I kept coming back to the Dyson. Well, I decided to purchase one, and all I can say is, "I LOVE IT!"!! Why did I wait so long?

Always loved Dyson. Got this one because I was sick of getting cheap Vaccuns that always lost the ability to clean my carpets. I have dogs and this one worked like a charm. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!

Highly recommend for anyone with dogs!! Not only does the Vacuum remove the hair from the carpet and furniture effortlessly, the grooming attachment is amazing!! I have a German Shepherd and I brush him all the time, I still pulled two full canisters full of hair off him!

Cleans really well. A little hard to push because the suction is so strong.
