    This unit is very affective at picking up pet hair. It replaces the last Dyson that simply worked to death - broke a hose.

    I upgraded to this from the Dyson V6 vacuum. My previous vacuum dust catch always filled up to fast but the size increase is a big plus. However the vacuum design tends to have it build up with whatever you are vacuuming and doesn't allow you to use the whole volume of the container. Also the expandable tub used to vacuum far reaching items or the corners between the walls and floor is a little weird to use. Never the less this is the best vacuum I have ever used.

    Wonderful vacuum , has great suction. Not heavy per se but with the suction it can be a little tougher to maneuver. Would recommend.

    Love Dyson - however, this one is not my favorite. Suction is ridiculous, but on hard floor it is difficult to maneuver because of the suction. The attachments are difficult to use unless you anchor the vacuum or place it on its side. Also, for as much as it costs, don’t you think Dyson could add a light?? It would help :)

    I was always curious if dyson was worth it. My old shark finally died after many years and sprung for this since it was on sale. Seems great so far especially with dog hair. Hopefully it holds up for years to come.
