    The suction is great just like you expect, but for me, this vacuum is very hard to push. I do have very thick plush carpet, but did not have this problem with my previous non-ball Animal Dyson. I think this would be best for low pile carpet or bare floors.

    This is an amazing vacuum cleaner!! Dyson really delivers & they make products right! Well worth the money. I bought my first Dyson over a decade ago & I just passed it on to my daughter when I got my new one!

    Its the best vacuum cleaner I ever owned. And I have ever invested in. Dyson vacuum does a great job with both carpets and floors. I have used it to suck up all the dust on my blinds and other hard to reach shelves and corners. I'm happy with the Dyson.

    I replaced an older model Dyson upright vacuum and overall I am very happy with this new version. Absolutely the most powerful vacuum ever. We have a large very hairy/“sheddy” dog and I love the dog grooming tool (one of the reasons I bought this version was to get that attachment.) My criticism with this model is the same as for others, dislike having to unwrap the power chord to use the wand, and the wand is not that user friendly.

    So good. I had the original i purchased years ago. Which is still going. I decided to purchase a new one for upstairs. I’ll never feel guilty for spending on a Dyson. Great quality. Timely delivery

    It does well on carpeting. Not so good on rugs. No matter what amount of suction I set, it pulls up the rug into the beater bar. I have read other reviews about the stiff hose. I concur wholeheartedly. The company responds by saying the hose will loosen up with time. What?? When you pay this much for a vacuum, it should be perfect! I also have had trouble with setting the vacuum upright and having the wheels lock, so it stays standing. This is something you should not have to think about. I do like the long cord and the amount the canister can hold. It sure beats the Shark I used to use. Lastly, it is tougher to maneuver than the last Dyson I had. I am a big guy, and it was work for me.
