You need major muscles to push this vacuum on a rug that has thickness. On a low pile rug no problem. Overall does a good job but over rated. Even at a substantial discount the value of the product is just acceptable not a must have best bag for the buck.

I've always heard great things about Dyson products and why they stand out compared to their competitors. Didn't realize how much of a night and day difference it was between them though. 10/10 go with Dyson when it comes to quality of materials and quality of cleaning

Dyson doesn’t disappoint

I will continue to buy and recommend this product. Dyson brand continues to impress. I have purchased a Dyson for each of my siblings. Especially since they have kids and pets.

They have a good reputation for a reason. However. I’m very disappointed as I picked this vacuum because online it said the wire was retractable. It is not. Very disappointing. It works great. Does it’s job. But I’m lazy and really wanted a retractable wire.

However, with a Dyson it's not a chore at all! Lightweight, Moves smoothly and easily over floors. Any type of floors carpet or hardwood. I bought this one for mountain cabin, hated the obsolete type I had.
