My daughter wanted a new vacuum for Christmas so I bought her one! I do not care for the attachment hose. It is stiff and not user-friendly.

While it does work as expected it is not very practical or user friendly, Using the extension is a pain, hard to get back on and you have to unravel the cord to use the extension. The hose itself wasn't very flexible or long to handle taller windows. Figuring out how to release it from upright was also not easy to figure out at first. I just expected more, and an easier to use vacuum being a Dyson. Ended up returning it for a shark lift away

Posted .Hello John, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you didn't find the Ball Multi Floor Origin to be user friendly. Your machine features ball technology. This allows it to steer easily into difficult places with a simple turn of a wrist. The vacuum's key components have been engineered to fit inside the ball itself. This gives the machine a streamlined profile, allowing access to tight spaces and lowering its center of gravity to make it lighter in the hand. Also, the machine will feature a quick recline feature. This will avoid the need for pedals or stepping on the front of the machine as with our non-ball models. Rolling the unit around from room to room is recommended to be done with the ball instead of the stabilizer wheels on the back of the ball. You can then put the unit upright once you are done with cleaning and for storage.

I have a romba for inbetween cleaning but once a week deep vaccuuming with dyson does wonders.
