The fan obviously looks futuristic, is very quiet, and it actually works great during the past 1-2 months of use. However, the unit came with a defective remote (it completely drains the CR2032 battery every 2-3 days) and I contacted Dyson to send me a free replacement. Using the fan without the remote is its biggest flaw - without it, you can only use the fan with an on/off switch at the base. There' should have been a way to integrate all control buttons (fan speed, swivel, etc.) on the fan's external surface. I also find that the fan speed at its max setting is mostly adequate and could have been a slightly stronger.

I read several reviews from different sources and wanted to try it. I was SO IMPRESSED with just the 1st use. I have never seen so much grit, lint and dirt get sucked into a vacuum before. I have been just as impressed each time I use it for the past 6 months. I wish I had purchased it years before. GREAT Value.

I really enjoy using this now. The attention to detail when designing these are nice. For instance, the tools lock into place so when you’re vacuuming the sofa the tool won’t fall off or rotate. You can also disassemble easily to clean it out which I appreciate. Should last years.

Great Vacuum

It is easy to use and does a great job getting up my golden retriever's hair. The only issue that I have had is that the button that opens the canister to dump the trash broke in about 6 months worth of ownership. It is still usable just a bit of an annoyance on a vacuum of this price. Other than that it is an outstanding vacuum.

She vacuums a lot but our old machine well just does not compare in any way to the Dyson. She especially loves the retractable handle. She can have the vacuum in the kitchen and go the length of the hall with the handle getting any spider webs etc with the super long retractable hose. Our neighbor owns one and didn't know it did it! But this vacuum, no bad points at ALL!
