A: Hello JG, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 upright vacuum cleaner is perfectly ideal in homes with hard wood, tile and carpeting/area rugs. The self-adjusting cleaner head raises and lowers to seal in suction across all flooring types. You can also shut off the brush bar for use on your hardwood as well. I hope this helps! Q: What is the difference between this model and the Animal 2?
A: Hi JG, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2, and Dyson Ball Animal 2 vacuums are very similar in terms of performance. Both feature a self-adjusting cleaner head to seal in suction acrtoss all flooring types. You can also turn the brush bar on/off on both models, should you wish to do so while vacuuming bare floors. Both machines will also come standard with the stair tool and combination tool. Suction power on the Multi Floor 2 is 245 air watts, and 270 air watts on the Ball Animal 2. The Ball Animal 2 is our most powerful upright. Q: Does this vacuum work well on hardwood floors?
A: Yes works great I have 2 cats and it sucks up all the hair with out it blowing all around
Q: where are the filter situated, vav seems a little slugish probably dirty filters Can't find them

Q: What are the warranty details?
A: The bestbuy warranty is no longer worth it. The vacuum comes with a 5-year warranty that covers repair, shipping and handling. BEST BUY in Cape Girardeau, MO is no longer pro-rating their warranties. If you have to use the warranty, you loose the $59.99 warranty on the spot. If they choose to exchange your vacuum...you have to BUY ANOTHER ONE!!!
