It is lighter than the average vacs. And packs a powerful suction.

Even, though this vacuum is one of the cheaper ones in the Dyson line, you still feel like you bought quality. The suction does indeed beat the competition by a landslide. It takes a little getting used to switching between the wand and the regular vacuum. The overall design is built for convenience and it does its job well. Happy with this purchase.

This is the most powerful vacuum I ever purchased. I am very happy with it. However, it was so powerful it didn’t work on my Persian carpet because the pile is to short. When I called Dyson about this problem, they sent me an attachment for free to use on the Persian carpet.

I bought this to replace an older vacuum that still worked but was difficult to push on newer rugs. This one glides along easily. It does feel a bit flimsy - I'm hoping is just new lighter materials that are stronger than they feel. I like the smaller profile. The only con is the ball prevents vacuuming under furniture. I had to buy a small cordless vac for that.

I love my Dyson, I wish I would have made this purchase long ago. Having a pet and stairs with carpet this makes my life much easier. The suction is great. You get attachments to reach all the hard to get areas. It's such a good vacuum im sure I'll have it for many years to come

Overall pleased with the Dyson, but do wish the upright hold position was better as the catch easily releases when transporting while rolling. Also noticed that the vacuum is poor at picking up small stones that may have transported inside from the bottom of your shoe/sneaker. The cord is a nice long length which is great. Not a bad unit and looking forward to continued use.

Since we first purchased Dyson, we’ll never own anything else. While residing in temporary lodgings, we had a name brand vacuum cleaner. When we used the Dyson on previously vacuumed surface, it extracted much more dirt and pet hair. While more expensive than other brands; it is well worth it. Our last Dyson lasted for 8+ years.

The dyson ball multi floor 2 is great for the price range but comparatively is priced a little steep. But, considering it comes with a 5 year warranty, the price is worth it. The suction is great when using it upright but the extension lacks that suction power. The only two negative are when switching between carpet and hard floors and when using on stairs; it's pretty heavy if you are a small person.
