Good vacuum, alit lighter than our older version of the Dyson which needed.to be replace, it is more difficult to get vacuum to retract to a standing position after vacuuming, need to step on base of vacuum head to get it to click into an upright position

Excellent and powerful hoover! We picked this over Shark as per recommendations from friends. So far its well maintained, something that was noted with the shark vacuum as falling apart after a few months.

This by far is the best vacuum I have ever purchased. It's a little pricey, but well worth it.

Great for all surfaces but be aware that this type of vacuum is not recommended for thicker, soft plush carpet.

Dyson vacuums are excellent and this one is no exception. Very good vacuum and a great price.

Excellent vacuum and fits into tight spaces. Very strong suction power. However, the vacuum does not work well on super thick rugs and because the vacuum self adjust...it can't be adjusted to accommodate a thick high rug. Nevertheless, for regular carpet, rugs, and hard floors...this thing is awesome!!!

Purchased on a whim because of the great deal, we could not be more pleased with performance ! Grossed out by what we did not know had been left in our carpet ! But, with my allergies, it is a relief to know our Dyson is getting it out of the carpet !!!

Excellent! Almost too excellent at times. The suction power in this thing can move a rug with ease. This has been perfect for ensuring the couches, carpets, and rugs are free of dog hair.

Replaced my old Dyson with a newer model. Overall satisfied with the product except with vacuuming on rugs with pads under it. The suction makes almost impossible to vacuum on it. However, works great on carpet and wood floors. Best Buy device was good and professional.

I am very pleased with the suction power. It literally picks up everything!!! It's so easy to maneuver, easy to clean and surprisingly it's not THAT loud! Definitely purchase this if you're looking for a vacuum that'll last you more than a year!

It took all of 4 minutes to unwrap and assemble the vacuum and all of 5 minute to fill up the canister! This was a replacement for my 11 year old original Dyson and I was impressed with the power! The ball makes it turn on a dime effortlessly. Very impressed!

We picked up this Dyson earlier today after owning a Dyson for the past dozen years. The wife is a Dyson believer big time. We have three types of piles of carpets in our house. We are thrilled with the performance on short pile. It picked up pet hair by the handful. We had to empty the cannister multiple times but that doesn't disappoint. It's doing the job. On medium pile, you basically have to be an strongman to vacuum but I discovered a trick that seems to get around the issue. On this type of carpet, it's almost as if the head creates a suction seal after several strokes making it almost locking the head to the carpet. All I did was tilt it up to the resting position to break the suction and then drop the head again. Pushing the vacuum was much easier at that point until the head "grabbed" the carpet again. In a room that features 20' by 20' of vacuumable space, I had to do this about 5 times. It did pull up a lot of pet hair so it was doing the job. We also have a shag carpet in our living room. This presented a puzzle because we vacuumed it twice, once with the brush off and once on and neither time did much pet hair accumulate which was odd because it's the room our dog spends most of her time in. We're going to call Dyson to see what they have to say. I see in some reviews here that Dyson suggests calling the carpet manufacturer to see what kind of vacuum they recommend but how practical is that? There's short pile, medium pile and shag carpet. How is it not common sense to design a vacuum that works on all surfaces or specifically states which ones a unit doesn't work on? On the shag, we can give it some time to see if it improves and captures more hair. Maybe it was cleaner than we suspected. On the medium pile, I'm not sure we can live with this suction issue. It only adds a few minutes but we've never had to perform a little trick to vacuum and my arms are sore after just doing a few rooms! A little design change such as a slide opening on the head to allow some air into the head would prevent the over-suction issue on this type of carpet.

Works well, as expected, both on hard floor and on carpet. A bit noisy, especially on hard floors (it has a setting to switch between carpet and hard floor). Around the edges, it's unable to pick dirt properly and requires more time than usual.

Literally did what i couldn't imagine. My reaction "That came out of the carpet?" Well worth it. It works better than a cordless vacuum without a doubt. 10 year warranty from Dyson, Nice!

Vacuumed my entire house that's carpeted on the day and it works great. Noticed the difference between my old vacuum cleaner and Dyson - Ball Multifloor 2 Bagless Upright Vacuum cleaner. Some parts feels to be delicate. Though little pricier, worth for the price.

Holy cow this vacuum is strong. We replaced an older Dyson with this vacuum and have bee surprised on how much dust/debris this one has picked up from surfaces previously 'cleaned'. Definitely would recommend.

This vacuum has great suction! Love how it is made for hard surfaces along with carpeted surfaces. Set up is easy and emptying canister after vacuuming is easy. Only thing is it is not fully Hepa sealed which kind of stinks bc everything else about the vacuum is great!

I have 2 dogs and husband that keep me vacuuming a lot! Been thu several other brands that don't last more than a year. Spent a little more and you def get what you pay for with Dyson Ball. Very good vacuum.
