This has to be the most perfect vacuum!! Whether you are vacuuming carpet or wood floors or tile, this vacuum gets the job done. It is so easy to use and maneuver and not a speck of debris is left behind!

It’s a great Vacuum for carpets. Better than anything I ever had. 5 star worthy, but I removed 1 as there is no way to attach folded chord to the Vacuum. Just a small inconvenience.

I upgraded my old Dyson with this model. Old Dyson still worked perfectly, so gave it to my brother (who has a white Husky-wolf). He was amazed at its cleaning action. I'm in awe of the power of the new one.

I was skeptical on the price of these things but it has turned out to be a good purchase. Floors are definitely cleaner than our old one and I like the fantastic lines I can get in the carpet with this thing.

A quiet yet powerful vaccuum. The two modes show a difference in power, one for wooden floor and one for carpet. The only downside to this vacuum would be the handle part to use to vacuum hard to reach places. Other than that this is a great vacuum for apartments and houses.

This Dyson is not quite as strong as my Animal Dyson, but does a fantastic job! It is being used as a stairway and upstairs vacuum cleaner. It is lighter and smaller than my Animal Dyson, making it easier to use on the carpeted stairway. I am sold on Dyson!!!

This vacuum is powerful and great. I see a lot of people complaining about not being able to turn the power down for throw rugs and what not but the average person isn't a hardcore vacuum enthusiast. This is an excellent bang for the buck.

Got this for my wife for Christmas. (she asked for one.) We have a combination of hard floors and carpet. It did great on the hard floors and a low pile rug, great suction! BUT, when tried to vacuum our medium pile carpet, not so good. The suction is so strong it pulled the carpet up into brush, and therefore stopping the brush, and also making it almost impossible to push or pull vacuum. Doing more research to see if there was a solution, found that it is a continuing problem with this issue. Sad that Dyson hasn't corrected this issue. Too much money to spend on a vacuum to do half of the job. Will be returning it.

This is the 3rd Dyson that we have owned. My wife absolutely loves this vacuum..

I intended on buying a Shark when I went in the store, a best buy employee was helping us make up our minds and showed us the Dyson which happened to be on sale at the time, this Vac is everthing I was looking for and works flawlessly. I love this Vac.

Does a great job on our carpets. Very satisfied with this product! The only issue is getting the vacuum to stay upright the latch is not very well constructed or engineered to stay in upright position. If it does not catch the vacuum falls to the floor.

Dyson vacuum cleaners are undoubtedly expensive, but in my opinion they're worth every penny. The upright units have multiple accessories which make cleaning of virtually any surface a breeze, and the suction power is excellent.

Okay, so I am sick and tired of bad vacuum cleaners. Decide it is time to get the best. Positive: Ridiculous suction. Negative: Does not work on think area rugs, because the suction is so strong, the vacuum won't move. I still love it for traditional rugs and floors.

Good suction. Heavier than I expected compared to trying it in the store. Hose much more difficult to maneuver when machine is on as opposed to in the store when the salesman is trying to sell it to you and it is not on. Wand not easy to replace when finished using.

Easy to use, plenty of cord. Lots of plastic parts so I am hoping it holds together. My old Dyson Ball started chewing-up the main filter & passing dirt thru the motor. Hope this one does not do that. So far so good, seems a major improvement for earlier models.

I wasn't sure if it was advertising hype or not, but we bought one after going through multiple vacuums. Oh my goodness, it really works that well. I got a kick out of trying room after room and seeing all the dirt it picked up. Definitely worth the cost,

Love having it for my hard wood floors and being able to use it on my rugs.

I've only had it for about 6weeks now and so far works great picks up everything including cat hair.my carpets look great.Great price I'm sure the more expensive Dyson's are even better but for the price this vacvum works great

Vac is as advertised. Great suction and beater bar. Works well on both carpet and wood flooring. Would be 5 stars but the vac is awkward when trying to set upright. I have at least 2 tries to get it to set and stay upright.
