Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dyson- Although the cost causes many people to stay away- We owned our 1st Dyson for 10 years and our daughter bought a house so we gave her our original Dyson and was planning on buying her a new one after she completed her renovations to the house figuring it would have been beaten up- Well we were wrong - The original is still working great and the new one we purchased works as good as our 1st- So we most likely will not need a vacuum for 15 years-
