I took it in to Best Buy thinking they would fix it, but it was replaced! I now have a brand new vacuum and I only had to pay the difference in the price from the old to the new. I have had 4 other vacuums prior to my Dyson since living in Las Vegas. None of them survived longer than a year. Dyson is an investment worth making!

First off, this is not my first Dyson. We have had Dyson vacuums in our house now for more than ten years. We currently have a Dyson cordless vacuum that we love and this purchase was to replace the Dyson multi-floor that we had been using. It is IMPOSSIBLE to vacuum two rooms with this piece of junk without the brush stopping upwards of twenty times. Yes, we have newer carpet and the pile is fairly thick. But we didn’t model our home after The 70’s Show, so by no means do we have anything close to shag carpet. Our old multi-floor worked just fine on the same carpets. Had a few things on our old multi-floor not broke, we would’ve never replaced it. I have given this heap of junk the benefit of the doubt for a couple weeks now. Figuring that I would learn to live with it. Well forget it! For what these cost, it is going back.

A little complex but a good vacuum!

It might be a little complicated and heavy for older people. I couldn’t keep it because it was a little too loud for my nyc apartment and cats. The V7 Motorhead is a great alternative if you’re looking for something a little more simple, lightweight and cordless.

When I turned it on and used it the sound it made made me confident it was doing an excellent job of picking everything up. You can really hear the suction and the brushes. It also has a wider head than my old vacuum so less cleaning time. I now believe all the hype.
