It was easy to put together (and I am old) The vacuum picks up dust off my tile floors and really, really, cleans our rugs. The "ball" was knew to me, but during the second time I vacuumed I got the hang of it.

Easy to assemble, easy to use and empty the bag less container. Great on tile and hardwood floors; Good on the “not so thick” carpet. My old Dyson lasted 14 years CONS- It has no floor adjustment lever at all! Very hard to use if you have thick carpet.

I replaced it with this one, I’m hoping it will last a couple of years after seeing it. Vacuum suction is great but seems fragile and cheaply made . I’m hoping for the best but an disappointed with how it looks.

Dyson machines are made from polycarbonate ABS, which is same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. Perfect on Hard Surfaces

This is perfect both for hard surfaces and low-nap area rugs. It's powerful, easy to maneuver, and does a particularly good job along edges and in corners. It doesn't lay flat enough to go under beds so you'd still need to use a dust mop or Swiffer.

What I don’t like that much is that it’s very heavy so it’s hard to do stairs, had to get a smaller one for that. And it looses stability easily when vacuuming with the other accesories so you have to be extra careful with it or it’ll fall. It does get everything in it’s path and I really like that.

However, I had to return it as it was too heavy for me to maneuver due to having difficulty with my shoulders and arms. It is not self-propelled so if you are strong and do not have any weakness in your arms, this is a wonderful vacuum. I was sad to have to return it.

We pulled so much off our carpet that the oreck missed. I do love the attachments that come with it and how easy it is to change and use them. Emptying the bin and washing the filters are so great and easy to do. The only thing I would change would be a longer cord.
