Even Dyson has lower quality items
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dysphasia are great, but not as good as they used to be. Spend a little extra than what I did with this one. A lower end that lacks some of the ease others have.

Easy Assembly! Great product!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The vacuum has been one of the best ones we’ve ever purchased! A little bit heavier than expected, but it will pick up EVERYTHING! Completely worth every cent spent!

Great vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good packaging, easy instructions and setup. This vacuum “sucks” everything up. Thought my floors were clean with the 5 year old Shark Rotator. But when we put the Dyson to work it’s clean now.

Works like a charm!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always used dyson's, but never had one of my own. I finally took the plunge and bought one. I love it! Although the floor "head" is larger than anticipated, it's still easy to use.

No complains
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the only issue you can face with Dyson is that whenever they come up with newer product then you feel the urge to buy the newer one. If they could have trade in then it will be best investment ever

First time Dyson user
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time owning a dyson. The vacuum is really nice. I have noticed I have to vacuum two or three times at the same spot to pick up everything. Has a warranty so hopefully it won't break like all the others before.

Over rated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Assembly was easy but the materials seems very weak and cheap especially for how expensive this brand is compared to others. Performance is ok but nothing special for the cost.

I expected a little more for the price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I couldn't wait to try this vacuum out when I got it, and for the most part it didn't disappoint. To start off with, the suction is really great. And after all, isn't that what a vacuum cleaner should be all about? On the plus side, the suction is at the top of the list. It's also highly maneuverable and even though it has a wide beater bar, it's pretty easy to drive it around. The head section that houses the beater bar has a floating bottom piece that maintains a great seal to the floor no matter where you use it. The 31 foot cord is nice to see on a vacuum for a change. The dust canister is easy to remove and clean, as you would expect. When using the beater bar on carpeting (you can turn it off for cleaning hard floors), it actually helps to pull the vacuum forward, so even though you can really tell it's got a good seal to the floor, it's not that hard to push it around. You can tell it's really doing a good job at sucking all the dirt out of the carpet. I don't have pets, but I'm sure it would do great with hair from dogs, cats, lemurs skunks, shrews or just about any other hairy thing you call your pet. The edge pick up is really good too and you don't have to use your foot to try to pull the crumbs away from the wall in order to run them over with the machine, it will get them just fine. This vacuum has a lot of great features to it, but unfortunately, there are some not so great features. On the minus side, the first thing I noticed was the noise this thing puts out. I was actually really surprised because all the Dyson products I have seen or used have been pretty quiet. Every piece on the outside of the machine is plastic, no nice aluminum extension tubes or click type button latches. In stead all the parts go together and have just a plastic tab that holds them in place. It seems secure enough, but for the price, I had expected more. Where this vacuum fails for me in in the external hose/wand/attachments. You park the vacuum with the handle up, pull up on a plastic handle that's at the end of an extension tube. The tube is stored down inside an external flex hose. When you pull it up about three feet, it can snap into the end of the hose or be completely removed. The tools that come with, can be stored on board which is also nice, but when you pull the hose to extend it so that you can use the pole to reach under or up high, instead of expanding easily and allowing you move freely, the suction that's inside the hose makes it want to shrink up to it's collapsed state. Pulling on it harder just starts dragging the rest of the machine around with you and I was always afraid I would pull the whole machine over. There's also no light on this machine, something else I thought would have been included in the high price tag. If you are looking for a straight upright vacuum with a whole lot of power to clean your carpet well and keep dust and debris off your hard floors, then I would by all means recommend this machine. But if you want to buy in to all the advertised versatility that this machine will give you, I would seriously consider a different one. It just didn't end up being nearly as versatile as it led me to believe.

Great Suction but kind of heavy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the suction this vacuum has, however it is a bit heavy and the hose is hard to use when you use the attachments with it.. I would re-think buying this again.

Posted .Hello Trixie, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for writing your review on the Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2. I am happy to hear how impressed you are with the suction on your machine. Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 offers 245 air watts of powerful suction, along with our Dyson Ball technology, which makes it easier to steer into different places with a simple turn of a wrist. Your machine will also feature a wand and extension hose for use with cleaning up high, under furniture and in hard to reach areas. Attachments may be used on both the wand as well as directly on the hose for added versatility. This will make cleaning more convenient and will also prevent tension and stress on the hose when performing different tasks where the wand is not needed. Great vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great vacuum at a great price. Been living in a new house for about a month before the vacuum was purchased. It picked up so much that you would think it was an old old house. Works very well.

Awesome vacuum, slight learning curve
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the Dyson Ball Multifloor 2 for a couple of weeks now and have used it sufficiently to give my real-world impressions. First off, although Dyson advertises this machine as being "light to maneuver" don't expect a lightweight machine. It weighs in at nearly 16 pounds and you will definitely feel that heft when hauling it up and down stairs. Second, this thing is *LOUD*! If you think you can do some cleaning without disturbing a sleeping baby or significant other, think again. Won't happen. Third, the "instant release" wand comes out like a breeze but it needs a bit of finessing to get properly back into place, but after a few uses it becomes second nature. Those are about the only nitpicking things I can say are wrong with this vacuum. The pros definitely outweigh them all with ease. I have owned many floor cleaning machines over the years and the suction and cleaning power of the Dyson is second to none. To test it out, I used my previous machine (another high-end brand) and went over a rug in our den. I then immediately went over the same rug with the Multifloor 2 and was amazed at how much dust, hair, lint and fibers were pulled up. I was convinced and my old machine went directly to the curb and I haven't looked back. The ball makes this machine turn on a dime and the relatively low height of the powerhead allows it to go under most pieces of furniture. It takes some getting use to the turning abilities of this machine but after a few minutes of use it almost feels like an extension of your body. The floating suction plate does a really good job of maintaining cleaning power when changing from one floor type to the other (like from tile to kitchen rug, etc.). Emptying the dust bin involves nothing more than pressing a button, and the whole dust bin assembly can be broken down for ease of cleaning. Another great benefit of this machine is the massively long cord. Unlike other machines I've owned, I can cover 99% of my 2500 square foot two-story home from just 2 outlets, one upstairs and one down, while I previously had to stop mid-cleaning on each floor to move the cord to another plug. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but it's just one more thing to not have to think about. Having a 5-year parts and labor warranty with lifetime support is another great benefit of buying a Dyson. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate any longer. The old adage of "you get what you pay for" is definitely true, and the Dyson Ball Multifloor 2 is well-worth it's substantial weight.
