Why I thought Dyson was going to be so much better is beyond me. It does have great suction. Its so light that you really gave to work with the machine to click in upright. The hose you have to use either fully extended which limits the spaces you can operate in OR the hard extension portion can "collapse" into the hose which makes it to where its no longer flexible to use. I think there are better overall vacuums on the market. I'm disappointed I talked myself into this one.
