Upon first use I noticed it actually raised the nap of the carpeting and gave it a dimension that I had not seen in a long time. My other vacuum cleaned ok but nothing like this vacuum. It is very powerful and quiet at the same time. It has a little more weight than I expected, but I believe this helps with putting pressure on the carpet. it is aesthetically appealing and stores easily. Very long power cord is nice. The dirt chamber is very easy to remove and dispose of debris. The only thing I do not look forward to is cleaning the filters. The vacuum does feel somewhat flimsy when picking up and makes me concerned that something might eventually break. Swiveling to the right takes more effort, not sure why. Some how the proportions of weight just don't feel right when operating and when moving handle to the parked position, However, I still feel this a very good vacuum and its ability to get the job done out weighs other models on the market.
