I say buy 2 because we love the canister vacuum. Soooo happy we bought 2 one for the first floor and one for the second. It's easy enough to carry up and down but when you have a shot a buying a great product that will last for years make it easy on your back and spend the money. Does great on all surfaces hardwood, tile, carpet and yes he microfiber couch. With 2 little ones I now make them sweep because it is light and just works, even the 3 year old sweeps the floor.

I have been wanting a Dyson Canister Vacuum for a couple of years. I'm frugal, so I have been watching all the sales for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised when Best Buy had this model on sale: it was by far the best price that I had seen on this model, by at least $100 or more. This Dyson is easy to use & lightweight compared to my upright Dyson. I truly appreciate the retractable cord: that's a new feature.

Love this vacuum. It is very easy to move around and it picks up the stuff that it is suppose too.

This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used. The rotating brushes and high suction removes the fine dust from my wooden floors.

I've searched for a vacuum that can adequately clean my two shag rugs and this one pulls so much missed dust and dirty that my former vacuum missed. I'm a happy customer.

The Dyson Cinetic Canister has been the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used. The suction is so strong and the ease of use is second to none (I was impressed by the rotor head not needing a motor). Switching the tools out can be a little bit of a pain if you don't pull them out straight, but other than that I find no other faults with the vacuum at all!

Powerful and have fun with using this vacuum. Able to reach even small space.

For a vacuum designed for people with pets, it was very disappointing after the vacuum sucked up dirt and animal hair like a champ, that when pressing the button to empty the canister, everything emptied except for the animal hair. The dog fur was tangled inside the canister, and we had to pull the hair out by hand.

Works well for me and my family. We have a dog, so this vacuum makes it much easier and faster to clean around the house.

First: Dyson IS EXPENSIVE. So if you're not willing to pay BIG BUCKS for a vacuum, then stop reading this review. Second: "The Animal" requires frequent emptying. BUT... it's well worth it! It cleans thoroughly; so much so, that our hardwood floors shine. Best of all, NO DUST! Our carpets, sofas, drapes were once a pain to vacuum. Dog hair everywhere. Not anymore. We love the Dyson!

It's an awesome machine to use plus no bags. Plus no filter to wash or replace.

This vacuum works great. It's easy to carry around or drag behind you.

I've only used it a handful of times but it works very well. The neatest thing is that the vacuum bristle brush comes out of the bottom very easily and allows you to remove hair and other long strands that get caught in there. It also does an excellent job of trapping dust. I have allergies but I don't notice any going back out into the air while cleaning.

I am a guy who does not like cleaning chores... let's just say that this little baby made vacuuming fun!!!
