Excellent vacuum, can able handle a variety of surfaces and workloads. Efficient, easily navigable, and tough. Gets the job done.

I was worried that this would not reach down and clean the carpet as well as my trusty decade-old Bissell. The small brushes just didn't seem up to the task. I was mistaken. The suction is very good and the canister easily empties without much effort. The only thing that I didn't like was when you go to "park" the vacuum, you sometimes have to push up and make sure that the handle is locked in the upright position. I have had it fall many times when I didn't.

Had the smaller ball and thought it did a very good job of picking up the dirt, but the big ball has so much more suction. It's great.

It was time to replace our 6 year old Dyson with a new one and this one appears to be better than the prior model!

I like the vacuum but it doesn't vacuum very good on new carpet with a thick pad. Really hard to push even with the brush off. I called and asked for assistance with Dyson and they said I could send it in for warranty service they can send me a attachment to do it myself. If that is the issue, why don't they make it part of the vacuum in the 1st place? Now I have a new vacuum and cannot use it until the attachment comes in. which is 3 weeks... Was it worth the Best Buy Deal of the Day? Yes and No!

I have been wanting to try a Dyson vacuum because of the great reviews, but the price is a lot higher as compared to the rest of the vacuums out there. I decided to take a plunge and hold and behold... this vacuum is wonderful! It is big and bulky but glides easily on the carpet. I can maneuver it without any problem and the suction is powerful. This is the best vacuum I ever had and tried... and I tried so many! The price really speaks for it’s quality!!!
