Whatever part hold the vacuum upright is easy disengaged and it falls over. Im always picking it back up. I dislike it very much.

With regard to the hose, I can confirm that we would essentially expect the hose to become more flexible with time and use. A few tips we can provide would be attaching your accessories directly to your hose, as this will also help expedite stretching the elasticity of the hose. Dyson vacuums are engineered with versatility in mind and attachments may be used on either the wand or directly on the machine itself for added convenience. Also, when stretching the hose out we would recommend starting by stretching the part of the hose that is nearest to the vacuum first when extending this part to clean your home. We would actually recommend checking to ensure the wand is not obstructed and that the hose is not sucking into itself as the hose is not something we would expect to be an issue during use.

Great suction power uncomfortable wand

The red latch that holds the wand to the handle stays on the wand while using the wand. It creates an odd large and bulky tip. My original animal ball that I bought in 2004 was awesome, it lasted 15 years.

Great Power, a little annoying

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The suction & results from using the vacuum are definitely “top-shelf” compared to other vacuums, but the wheels don’t stay “locked” when you roll the vacuum over a floor transition or when you lift up the vacuum & put it back down, which is a little annoying. I’d still buy this vacuum again for the high quality results.

It definitely gives me comfort knowing everything in its path that isn't attached to the floor is getting swallowed.

My only complaint would be either the wheels or brush (that spins/picks up dirt) that squeak, right out of the box. I’m sure it could be remedied with some lubrication but that was a bit unacceptable to me as a customer for a brand new product.

So I got this plug in one & it is PHENOMENAL!!!!! Oh my, you won’t believe the stuff it picks up. BUT IT!!!!

This is my second Dyson and I am still keeping my old one that has lasted me at least 15 years now. Once you go Dyson you never go back.

Went over bedroom carpet with old vacuum and then with this vacuum and nearly filled the container with dirt (14' x 11' room). Anticipate this helping out with allergies.

Currently, I have a German Shepherd and Lab, this vacuum is a lifesaver. I vacuum everyday. Dyson has a 5 year warranty (just make sure you register it as I forgot to register my last one).
