We owned another Dyson ball vacuum prior to this purchase and this one picked up years worth of dust/dirt/hair that the other didn't over the years. So much more power and came with an additional battery and additional charger. We still haven’t had to use the second battery!

Upgraded from a V7 model and a world of difference! Loving the battery life and battery life indicator! If you use on carpet the life is significantly less but with the ability to change batteries I am able to vacuum the entire room without having to dock and recharge!

My wife said that this has made vacuuming fun, so it's a winner in my book. Works like our corded Dyson, only lighter and no cords to mess around with. Pricey, but it works better than any other cordless that we've tried.

Seems more powerful as the full size Dyson vacuum we have as it was older. We love the cordless ability to take it anywhere and the fact that they added two battery packs. It does tend to drain battery pretty fast. Other than that, it works great, and has been awesome!

This is a great vacuum that makes the chore much faster and easier. I love the battery power so I don’t have to worry about a cord. The suction power is great and the fact that it can go from floor type to floor type is great. Makes sweeping a thing of the past.

This vacuum works great when you need to clean often and with different floor types. You just basically grab and go. No cords and it automatically adjusts speed and height relative to the surface you are cleaning.

Absolutely love this vacuum! I am amazed and grossed out at the same time at how powerful this vacuum is, and how much crap this thing sucks up. Your house is definitely clean after using it. Best Bazillion dollars I’ve ever spent!

Very nice vacuum cleaner but I found it cheaper on another website. I know Best Buy price matches but they could not match the price + the 2 extra batteries + the 2 extra chargers + a very nice tote stow away storage bag that held the 8 additional attachments that also came with it. For that reason, I chose to return it & purchase the one with the better price and all the extras!

Great vacuum. I had a V10 which I loved. I gave that to a family member and bought this one. Great for all floor types without changing the vacuum head. Battery life is longer. Does a great job picking up dirt.

I decided to get this after our corded Dyson Animal died after about 6 years. So this isn't worth the money. Even having two batteries its just bearly enough to vacuum the enite hose. My house is an avarage is bi-level home. I don't live in a mansion just an average home in the suburbs. The machine itself is made with cheap parts and breaks easily. I was just vacuuming the house and the trigger broke. Dyson honored the warranty and sent me a new upper part of the unit since you just can't replace the trigger. When going though thw warrant process I asked if I could just replace it with a coded model which is cheaper. That's how much I don't like it. Unfortunately that was not an option. I gave ot 3 stars only for the fact that it does work well. The technology and quality isn't there for this product yet. Once this compley dies im going back to a corded model. P.S I only use the Medium setting when vacuuming.

Improved suction as compared to V10. Just slightly heavier than I anticipated.

I always wanted a dyson vacuum and I finally got it! This was everything more and so much easier to clean than my former shark vacuum especially because I have a chow chow mix and husky mix. Cleaning up has never been easier.

Excellent product. Little pricey but well worth the investment. My wife wanted this for cleaning and ease of access around the house and we both use it for almost everything we can now.

I was skeptical about switching over to a cordless vacuum, but this one has exceed my expectations! I have two large dogs that shed excessively (GSD & Husky), so I need to vacuum the house daily. This cordless vacuum has had no issues picking up hair. I am also impressed with the battery life. My house is approx. 1200 SF with all wood floors/tile and a couple area rugs. I can vacuum my entire house a few times with one charge. The canister is large enough that it can make it through one house sweep (keep in mind , I have a LOT of dog hair...so an average person likely wouldn't fill the canister this quick). Not being tethered to a cord is also a game changer! It's just so much easier to maneuver through the house....no more cord to get snagged on chair legs or the need to plug into a different outlet halfway through cleaning!

We bought this vacuum to replace an older Dyson corded animal vacuum we’ve had for several years. We love this new stick vacuum. It weights less, easier to reach hard areas, and the suction is better than the de vacuum.

Great vacuum! We had a Dyson animal upright and it was 15 yrs old and it was time for an upgrade. This new vacuum is lighter and easy to handle and makes moving up and down the stairs much easier! Definitely would recommend this vacuum.

The hands down BEST cordless on the planet! I must say this vacuum is impressive and nothing short of amazing! This Dyson oozes sophistication and innovation while checking all the right boxes for corded vacuum replacement. This vacuum is the gold standard and with removable batteries there isn't much to improve. All I will say is MORE LEDS please! My wife likes it so much she gave away our old corded vacuum to our neighbor. This has truly replaced our traditional corded vacuums. Be prepared to be shocked and in awe of the power and efficiency of this cleaning powerhouse. The real-time performance and battery gauge are extremely welcomed to this wireless cleaning solution. The full-size cleaner head and dust bin, 2 detachable batteries, and LCD screen are the major selling points on this edition. You can clean longer and faster now working with more battery and storage this time around. The best-in-class motor automatically adjusts to the surface you are cleaning as well so there is power savings through the AI driven motor. The new conical motorized brush head has an angled design to improve its ability to detangle itself from hair. There is a new LED wand attachment that works wonders in the dark. There is a low-reach adaptor for getting under those hard to reach places. You will enjoy long cleaning sessions with the wide array of cleaning tools provided. From the pesky and annoying stair jobs to dusting and clearing sofa cushions, I find myself vacuuming more making this my new workhorse. Powerful Deep Cleaning Two Batteries, Two Chargers Intelligent Suction My recommendations and comments With the larger size comes more weight. No complaints from me but my wife mentioned the weight a few times. Ergonomics of the grip-I found it a bit uncomfortable after long periods of use on my inner part of the grip between my thumb and index finger. My wife did not like the new trigger. No true on switch-it would be less taxing if you didn't have to said a trigger for long cleaning sessions. Charge time-I think it averaged maybe 4 hours to go from completely dead to full. Verdict If you have money to buy the best, then this is it! Although the price is up there, you get what you pay for. This is not for everyone due to the price, but it IS for everyone!

Having a large family (4 kids and 4 dogs, the larger of the dogs being a German Shepard) I wanted a vacuum cleaner that could handle dog hair as well as something simplified and easy to move around when vacuuming, I love my Kenmore canister vac but I knew it was time for an upgrade. I did my research and this Dyson seemed to be the winner on cordless. The pros: The large head is great for open areas and it does a pretty good job at picking up dog hairs. Being cordless and having a large canister really is a timesaver. It is pretty easy to clean and having an extra battery comes in handy. Cons: It’s a little on the heavier side (I did get used to it after a few uses (and I have back issues). The oversize head as I said is great for open areas however it isn’t so great for smaller areas and corners. It seems to struggle on picking up heavier particles which could easily get picked up with my Kenmore. And having to hold on to the trigger in order to run the vac is a little of a hassle when needing to vacuum larger areas. Overall: I contemplated returning this cordless vac but decided to keep it because overall I really did like the convenience of it and the cordless aspect of it. I am also pretty pleased with the vac overall.

Dyson nailed it. A perfect execution of tech with real-life usability. Clearly the team at Dyson thought about this project as if they were users... and the performance is unmatched! Totally worth the premium price.

It’s expensive but it works as advertised. It came with two batteries and a bunch of attachments and I’d definitely recommend getting the second battery. I’d give it 5+ stars if it wasn’t so expensive so that’s the only reason I gave it only 4 stars. I have 3 German Shepherd Dogs and this Dyson takes care of business! Awesome machine!
