I debated purchasing this for so long and I’m so disappointed in it. $800 for a vacuum! It should work great , but it barely picks up anything on my hard floors or couch and always gets clogged. Now I am out $800 and need to figure out what vacuum to buy that will actually function well

The Dyson Outsize Total Clean Cordless Vacuum is one of the nicest battery-operated vacuums I’ve used. I own an older and smaller version that’s similar to this version, as well as one by another manufacturer. None of them come close to this one. The run time of the battery is excellent. It’s even better because it comes with 2 battery packs. Eco and Auto mode will give you the most run time. You can use Boost mode, but I’d suggest using it sparingly because the battery will not last as long, but you will have strong suction power. The LCD on the top of the unit works great, and the button to toggle between the 3 modes is easy and to the point. This vacuum is a lot quieter than my older Dyson battery vacuum. The unit I have comes with quite a few attachments. I like the crevice tool that lights up for those hard to see areas, and the smaller vacuum head. They both come in handy when I’m washing and detailing the inside of my car. The attachments will also fit previous Dyson battery vacuums also. Emptying the unit of debris and cleaning the filter are super easy. Best vacuum I currently own by far.

Great design as far as handleability. The center of weight is just right to where it is not strenuous holding it until you’re done with the job. The only issue I came up with is the air tube where the dust goes from rake to the chamber can get clogged with more solid items. Might be too much for the price however.

Overall vacuum is great. However, the suction power could be stronger in the normal mode.

I love this vacuum! I have 2 dogs and it cleans up pet hair no problem.

SUMMARY ------- This review is for the dyson outsize total clean vacuum. This is a cordless stick vacuum and it comes with 2 swappable batteries and they run for 120 total minutes (60+60). Its got a full size bin and its got a full sized cleaner head which means less strokes for cleaning the same surface. Its lightweight, cordless and its a dyson. I love it. Setup and build quality ----------------------- Its a dyson. That says it all about the build quality. Impeccable build quality like all other dyson. Everything is such good quality in terms of looks and touch and everything clicks like they are made for each other. There is no need for any screwdriver for setup and everything just clicks in place. Make sure to charge both the batteries to 100% and it takes about 4.5 hours each and since it comes with 2 battery packs, its good that you can use one and put the other one on charger. Once charged, click the battery onto the vacuum and you are good to go. Usage ----- This is my first dyson and my first cordless vacuum. I do have couple of sharks, one is a full sized vacuum and the other one is a stick vacuum but corded. When i compare them to this cordless vacuum, i was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of this vacuum and the suction power of this one. This one beats the other two out of the water. Most cordless vacuums do not have a full sized cleaner head and a full sized bin. This one can actually clean a 3000sqft house and you wont have to empty the bin until you are fully done. Love the Full sized bin and the fact that i dont have to do more strokes to clean the same area because of the full sized cleaning head is a good feature. Typically i am able to use just 1 battery pack for my complete house. I generally then put the exhausted one on the charger and use the other one for other chores. Talking about suction. The suction is excellent and you wont be able to tell the difference between corded and cordless vacuum. in fact, i felt that the suction was better than my corded shark ones. Note that, this is a learning vacuum and it learns your surfaces and it acts differently on hardwood and carpet so that it can efficiently clean and efficiently use the battery. My corded shark vacuum has 2 settings one for hardwood and one for carpet. In dyson, i dont have to toggle between the two as the vacuum automatically adjusts itself. Run time Anxiety - You can be rest assured that you wont have it. The LCD screen shows you the the run time remaining on the vacuum and its a great feature. Cleaning modes - The LCD screen will also display the cleaning modes which you have selected - Auto, Eco or Boost. I have seen that Eco mode does a good job on carpets and hardwood floors. Accessories ----------- its great that dyson gives you a plethora of accessories in terms of attachments for cleaning different surfaces. I always go for the Hair screw tool for the stair and upholstery pet hair removal. I just started on dyson and i dont think i would buy any other brand! Totally worth it and it comes with a 2 year hassle free warranty!!

Had this about a month and so far so good! It is a little big but getting used to it.

Great vacuum does as good as my old dyson upright. Only caution is that it is top heavy
