Amazing handheld vacuum. I have an older Dyson vacuum and an older handheld Dyson but this blows them both away. It’s light, easy to maneuver around furniture, and the battery last long enough to do a 2000 square foot home with charge to spare. I just got a dog and I wanted some easy to clean up after the new family member. This is expensive but well worth it.

We had another small handheld battery operated vacuum that we used around the house. It was so noisy and kept getting clogged with debris. The Dyson-V11 is quiet and so easy to keep clean. We use it exclusively around the house. It is amazing how much this vacuum picks up. Stairs are no longer an issue. In the past we used our corded canister vacuum and it was a real chore to balance and maneuver. Can't believe we didn't make the change over to Dyson earlier.

Originally purchased the V8, but had to return due to short run time. I love this vacuum. Fairly light weight. One thing I did not realize when I purchased is that you have to hold the power button the entire time, once the button is released it turns off, so this may not be good choice for someone with arthritis or weak hands. Get's the dog hair up well!

$500 is a lot for a vacuum but worth every penny ! My house is 1700sq ft. Primarily laminate wood finish with area rugs. Three teenagers and a cat and I have crumbs, dirt, leaves, peoples, cereal, pollen ( New England spring) cat fur, you name it ! No worries, I just grab my Dyson!! Whole house on one charge, couches, floors , rugs everywhere ! No cords , no switching outlets , picks up everything ! Best investment!

Probably not the 1st time a reviewer said "This Vacuum sucks" but it really does. Ive had many Dysons since they first came out and this one is by far the best. 3 modes of suction with an hour or more of run time is what we need in a house with 3 young boys. The price is pretty steep...but don't forget that typically you get what you pay for so I guess it's worth it. I would highly recommend this vacuum

This is our second Dyson V11 Animal Cord free vacuum. Actually our other one is a V12 Animal (which I think is replaced by the V15). We love both of the vacuums. The V11 does a great job on dog hair on hardwood and carpet. We like the ease of a cordless and the maneuverability. Definitely recommend. Get the Dyson. It's worth the higher price over the competition.

I was super hesitant to purchase, but finally gave in and have to admit I live this vacuum. It’s super light, works great and the fact that it’s cordless makes it THAT much better. We use it on our hard surface floors and carpet and the transition is seem less. We literally vacuum everyday now just because it’s so fast and easy with this thing!

I still have and love the Dyson we bought in 2010. It still works great, it just got a bit too heavy for me to use. The Dyson V11 vacuum is amazing. It goes from bare floor to carpet without having to change any settings. The charge lasts a long time. I can vacuum my whole house on one charge and still have a lots of battery left. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver. It is well worth the price.

I have purchased many Dyson products I am a fan of their quality and design. They are more on the expensive side but I can say the quality is worth it. This was purchased as a gift for my mother as she needed to replace her vacuum. The charge holds longer then the previous model and is lighter. Highly recommend it.
