I had my doubts at first but day 1 I was amazed. Our house is mostly tile and hardwood. One room is catered and man when I hit that carpet the junk that came out. Auto mode is the way to go the device is smart enough to know how much power to give. It also makes the battery last longer.

Almost as good as advertised. It is a little heavy for my wife but convenient. If you are thinking of using it handheld to dust high with one of the attachment, it blows air out the side very strongly so it is not good for that application. The roller stays free of hair well and it is strong and the battery life is very good. I definitely would recommend the item if you are in the market and compared to all others from this brand and others, I believe this is the best value.

Very impressive machine and powerful! No power cord to wrestle with! As effective as a corded vacuum cleaner that take up a great amount of space in a closet, this mounts on the wall! Easy to "dump load". Worth the price, but if you can purchase when on sale a bargain!

Love this Dyson! I was skeptical about a cord free having enough power, but it certainly does! I also was afraid of the weight of it. Not a problem. I recently had shoulder surgery and this vac has passed my expectations! Go Dyson.

The Dyson V11 works great! It’s convenient to grab whenever it’s needed without having to get out the bigger/heavier vacuum. It picks up the dog hair & dander great. This vacuum adjusts itself depending on the flooring and carpet thickness you’re on...that’s a nice feature. Highly recommended!

My first Dyson vacuum has been great so far. Definitely appreciate the power and versatility with kids! My 10 year old loves to help out my using the Dyson to keep our house clean. Have tried a few of the attachments but probably have not used them to their full potential.

Purchased this dyson v11 for my new house. I love that it is cordless and I can do the whole house without the battery running out. Suction changes automatically when going from hardwood to carpet. Emptying the bin is easy. Overall I love not having to deal with a electrical cord.

I am a Dyson fan and this is an awesome vacuum. Liked it so much I bought on for my son. Easy to use, battery lasts for the whole house and then some. Great product. 5 dogs and 3 cats live here, and it works on the hair and dirt.

Works very well on both carpet and hardwood floor. I have both in my home and wasn’t sure how well it would do on the carpet, I was blown away. Being cordless is the main reason I got it but the level of cleaning surpassed my expectations.

With three dogs and two little kids, the Dyson Animal makes it easy for us to quickly clean up messes on any surface in the house. This is lightweight and empties quickly. The included attachments make it painless to clean all areas of the house.

Best vacuum we have ever owned. Not having a cord makes life so much easier and it lasts long enough to vacuum a 4000 sq ft house before it starts to die. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone. Works great on hard floors as well.

A little slow to change between hard floors and carpet. Bin is small but easy to empty. Good suction and very light.

This is the best cordless handheld vacuum on the market right now. Super power suction and easy to use. The weight on this model has increased but it's manageable. I use it on a daily basis and have nothing but good experiences with it. Highly recommended.

Super convenient vacuum. The size, power, battery - no issues. Works best on hard woods and short carpets. If your home is wall to carpet, I would not buy this product because is won't pass easily over carpets. Its not bullet proof; in fact I replaced the last one I had because the on/off switch stopped working. Make sure you get the extended warranty. Bottom line - you will like it for hard woods, maybe not as much for carpet.

I’ve been eyeing Dyson cordless vacuums for some time, not wanting to spend the money when I had a vacuum that was sufficient and only five years old. I’ve had my Dyson V11 since mid-December and wonder why I waited so long. Using the Dyson is so very convenient to operate anywhere in my house. It cleans so much more efficiently than my old vacuum. My old vacuum was a canister. I hated pulling it out, plugging it in, and lugging the canister all around the house. The way the Dyson mounts on the wall, onto the charging cord, is seamless. It is easy to grab to clean small messes, or to clean the entire house. The battery life is more than enough for my 2400 sq ft house.

This vacuum is great at handling so many tasks and different types of flooring. The attachments give you many other options to tackle every nook and cranny where dust likes to hide. Dyson is always improving their already tried and true products. Worth the investment.

Had the V7 Motörhead previously and loved it, but it was getting old. Decided to update with the V11 Animal. Very smooth and easy to use. Stronger suction than the V7 and holds a longer charge. Would definitely recommend if you are willing to pay the higher price.

Love the detachable heads, the battery is great as well! I needed an upgrade from my V8 and this one is much stronger and has a larger waste container so I don't have to empty it as often. Very happy with this purchase. The only caveat I wish they would fix in all their products is I want to be able to press a button and have the vaccum run without me having to keep pressing it.

I purchased my Dyson v11 Animal around the holidays and have had no issues with it I truly love how compact it is and the power it has for such a small cordless vacuum and my wife loves it even more that’s it’s so light weight and and easy to handle around furniture

Wish I would have bought this vacuum years ago! Light weight, great maneuverability, excellent pick up power. Battery charge holds for multiple uses before charging. Great attachments for various cleaning.
