Customers are delighted by the V11 Animal Cordless Vacuum's powerful suction, ease of use, and long battery life, frequently praising its lightweight design and effective cleaning performance on various surfaces. Many appreciate the cordless convenience and the variety of attachments. However, some users note that the price point is high, the dustbin could be larger, and the trigger mechanism may present challenges with extended use.

If you’ve wanted a cordless vacuum or have been intrigued by them, but have had concerns with battery life, the wait is over. My first Dyson product was the V8 animal that I still have and use on a regular basis and after two years it’s still an awesome vacuum. When I first got it my concerns were the short battery life on high and the non replaceable battery. The battery after two years hasn’t been an issue like I thought it would be and it still holds a charge the same as day one. The Dyson V8 has enough suction on the low setting for carpets that you don’t need the high setting most of the time except for the really tough stuff. Dyson hit a solid double maybe a triple with the V8, with the V11 its a Grand Slam!
To start off, the new power head and auto mode is a game changer. When you go from hardwood/tile to carpet, it automatically switches and increases the suction. This is very noticeable, this thing has some major suction in the auto mode to where I never felt the need to use Boost. For most bathroom mats don’t use anything except Eco mode, it’s just to powerful. The three modes are Eco, Auto and Boost. I was able to completely vacuum a 3000sf house with most of the base boards and the steps with still one bar left on the battery in Auto mode. A nice addition to the V11 is the addition of a two piece tool holder that attaches to the tube. This little addition is a welcome add on that I missed on the V8. All of the attachments from the V8 work with the V11 which is nice.
The future is cord free and Dyson is in a solid potion to lead it with this Vacuum, it really is that good. I was skeptical when I first got the V8, but two years later I can say it has been an awesome vacuum. I’ll keep my V8 for light task but the V11 is now the King of the house. I was skeptical if the V8 at the time was worth the steep price, with the V11 there’s no such concern. This thing is worth every penny and then some! From Bluetooth headphones to power tools to vacuums, its time to cut the cord, and for Vacuums the Dyson V11 is the current King, Bar None!

This was my first time trying Dyson cordless vacuum and I simply loved it! It was very easy to assemble. The red buttons on attachments are very helpful.
I live in a 2 bedroom apartment so I was able to vacuum without running out of battery.
Auto mode is fantastic! I was really impressed that it automatically adapts from hardwood to carpet and other surfaces as needed.
It came with a wall mount but no place to storage the other accessories. I guess you just have to put them in a different location.
It is also very easy to empty the canister.
I think it might be a little bulky if I want to vacuum the carpet in my car, but no big deal.
Overall, I’m very impressed and would highly recommend the Dyson Animal V11!

It has plenty of suction and is not too heavy. The charge lasts long enough to vacuum the apartment when using max suction, for larger apartments or homes the auto and eco modes will extend the battery life exponentially. We have a German Shepherd, and he sheds a ton of hair, but with this vacuum we are able to keep the hair down to a minimum. It is easy to use, and perfect for getting in and around furniture. The included wall mount and additional heads add to the utility and convenience. It is a bit expensive, but I much prefer this over a traditional standup design.

The Dyson V11 Animal Cordless Vacuum is the best vacuum I have ever had. Light weight, easy to switch attachments and battery lasts long enough to clean the whole house at once. With two dogs and a toddler our floors need lots of attention and this vacuum has held up. Two years with it and still running great!

Overall the Dyson V11 is a great vacuum. Great suction, seamless transition between hardwood floor and carpets. The load sensor can determine the different floor type and increase suction power.
This is a bigger unit than previous models. Because its bigger, it is hard to clean tight corners or small spaces like the driver side of a car or under a sofa/bed. Older models have the trash bin perpendicular to suction head. The Dyson V11 has the trash bin parallel to the suction head making the unit feel like a space gun. A bulky space gun.
There is one unique feature that has nothing to do with the performance. After pulling the trigger there is a distinct “Boing” sound that’s kind of funny. That sounds is worth testing out the unit. You will get a kick out of it.

Awesome vacuum. Great suction, comes with all the accessories. And the best part is it’s cordless. It has lots of power and the battery lasts for a long time.. we are glad we bought it. The only thing that would make it better is if it weren’t so expensive.

I recently purchased the Dyson-V11 Animal after my first Dyson of many years was doing an okay job. My new Dyson-V11 is the perfect vacuum for cleaning after my two Bassett Hounds. This vacuum picks up just about everything that can be found on the floor. It is quiet and lightweight. It comes with different attachments that are useful for the different types of jobs. My hubby loves to use it and easy to maneuver around the house. It is excellent under furniture, the floorboards, stairs, and vacuuming your car. This vacuum makes cleaning quick and easy.
I do have to say that the first Dyson-V11 had to be returned the next day after the battery failed to work, but the Dyson customer service and Best Buy were excellent with the returned of the first one and handed me the second one without issues/concerns.
I am a Dyson customer for life. Some people might say that Dyson products are expensive but so worth it.

Let me start by saying we have 3 large breed dogs that shed constantly due to their coats and love playing in the rain, snow, or anything that gets them dirty for that matter. This vacuum blew me away not only with how much power is packed into such a light weight compact design but how every aspect is perfectly engineered to make cleaning easier, from the ingenious design that lowers the canister into the waste bin as you’re emptying it to the ease of cleaning out the roller heads and even the suction power which means you don’t have to go over the same area trying to pick up all the dirt and dust. I’ll finish by saying this little handheld vacuum has replaced our old stand up and can clean our entire 3 bedroom 2 bath house on one charge.
This little “animal” gets v11 out of ten from me

We have had this for years. The first vacuum didnt work. Dyson replaced it, second one didnt work, dyson replaced it. And third one finally worked.
They broke within minutes each time but this third one has been going strong. We were frustrated at first but dyson does back the product so I appreciate that.
We use it all the time, its lightweight and versatile. I recommend it. I grew up with big vaccums, no more throwing out my shoulder to vaccum. Weve had to replace some pieces since then but like i said dyson backs their product, just please remember to register your product to start the warranty.

Love my Dyson vacuum. The pieces fit together with easy-to-use connectors. Some of the pieces have power delivered directly to them. You can easily configure it for any situation, from floor to steps to furniture. It's quiet and does its job with a great deal of careful design instead of brute force. I like the way the pistol grip feels in my hand. I rarely charge the battery because one charge is plenty for what I use it for. When I do need to charge it, it's a simple process with the wall-hanging design. And it cleans really well.

This is probably my favorite home purchase that I have ever made. I bought it while I was pregnant because vacuuming with our corded dyson was cumbersome, and oh my gosh this thing is amazing. It is the most powerful and effective vacuum I have ever bought, and works great on hard wood, tile, and carpet. My oldest daughter would only sleep while I had her in the carrier and was vacuuming with this vacuum, so it had the added bonus of being a white noise machine for my infant!

The Dyson V11 animal is impressive, the best stick vac I have used. The charge time is more than sufficient to knock out a room without the use of a more bulky conventional vac. The auto power setting is awesome and the indicator screen is top of the line. Great suction, simple to use, and light weight. This vacuum is in line with the Dyson brand and quality that you expect. Overall very satisfied with this machine.

OK so first office vacuum is quite expensive. However, it’s probably one of the best vacuums I think I’ve ever purchased. Me and my wife got married three years ago as a gift we got a Dyson and large plug-in ball vacuum whatever you wanna call it. It worked good for a while but then it seem to just not pick up as much stuff in the suction was definitely lacking. So my wife really wanted this battery powered chargeable bag free Dyson I was skeptical at first but it’s what she wanted so I got it for for a gift (I know bad idea to get a vacuum for a gift but it’s what she wanted). And I am pleasantly surprised at how good this vacuum cleaner is it’s got good suction for the entire life of the battery it doesn’t start to slowly fade out and die it’ll be 100% and then once the battery is drained it dies it’s not like you’re vacuuming and then once the batteries at 50% the suction is red at reduced by 50% it’s 100% suction all the time until it needs to be recharged it’s great. The battery last a while if you keep it in Eco mode however we have three dogs and a long-haired cat so my wife and I tend to use it in the highest setting you can I think it’s called boost if I’m not mistaken and you can definitely feel the power behind it while you’re using it. Only downside is it is a battery vacuum cleaner and you have to recharge the battery. We have about a 1400 square-foot home three bedrooms two baths and I don’t think it could vacuum the whole house in a single charge in Eco mode let alone boost mode. With that being said it doesn’t take long for the battery to charge and it’s really not that big of an inconvenience to vacuum a quarter of the house recharge before moving to the next quarter and so on. It’s really not that big of a issue for us. We love the vacuum.

This vacuum has good, not great, suction. It’s light, so it’s convenient to move around the home. It takes up a small amount of storage space. The battery life’s more than adequate. The trigger function works, but does prove to be a bit problematic for one’s hand after using the device for a longer period of time. It’s color’s good looking and vibrant.
Clean up’s easy, although you may need to get your hands a bit dirty to remove what gets trapped inside the canister. Recharging the Dyson v11 animal requires just a moderate amount of time.
Going to a cord-free vacuum has been certainly worth it. Now I wouldn’t want to clean any other way!

The best vacuum cleaner. The price seems high initially but it is worth every penny
I have used it for about two months and I can not find anything to say about it other than it is so great. Literally it is difficult to find a thing to complain about. Great battery life, super powerful yet quite, light and portable with many different heads for whatever comes to your mind

I confess, I'm not a good housekeeper and I'm always looking for shortcuts. My business purchased several Dyson Cord-Free Vacs for their ease of use and maneuverability around equipment. After trying one I was impressed enough to consider one for my home figuring it would be able to handle small areas, spilled cereal and a few cracker crumbs. Before guests staying at my home for a wedding arrived I planned to tidy up a bit. I used my Oreck professional vac on carpeting followed by a "thorough" shampoo with the Bissell Carpet machine. After the carpet dried I figured I'd spot clean some of the places the other tools didn't reach using my new "toy." I couldn't believe my eyes, and just kept going and going. I Must have emptied the dust collector a dozen times going over carpeting I though was already clean. I even had to wash the filter after the first day (something I not proud having to admit). Battery never quit, suction never diminished. I loved using this on my carpeted stairway. I want to modify the head and possibly extend the wand to see if this can be used to clean my textured drywall....more to report later.

The POWERRRR LEVVEEELLLLL!!! (for any DBZ fans out there) ;)
The suction on this vacuum is INTENSE, especially on “boost” mode! This vacuum has just as good if not better selection than my standup Dyson. Battery life is amazing, especially compared to the competition where are you only get 20 to 40 minutes of use per charge where this one gives you a full HOUR!
One of my favorite things besides the ease-of-use is how they stand hangs on the wall and both charges it AND you can attach all of the attachments to the stand on the wall.
**This is a KEY HIGHLIGHT for me**
I say that because with my standup Dyson I was always misplacing or losing the attachments. It even comes with a piece that you can pop on the longer stem and then click in two additional attachments onto that. This way you can have your top three favorite attachments at hand all of the time.
Between the battery life and the ease-of-use with the key highlight above it enables you to clean pretty much any service with two simple clicks, without having to stop or try to hold multiple attachments.
I would strongly recommend this to a friend...or enemy for that matter, they need to keep their house is clean to! ;)

I've only had it for a few days, but it's already outperforming the Dyson upright. It can get into places and angles that the upright simply cannot touch. Pros: noise level is less, balance is great, interchangeability of attachments is easy, emptying the collection cylinder is easy, great on hardwoods and non-carpet surfaces, fairly lightweight. Cons: You have to empty it more. On some carpet, thick pile, you have to adjust to ECO mode and then it works [still works better in that mode than any other vacuum I've used (Bissell being one of them)], storage location... where do you put it? I mean in the videos and photos, it's on the wall. I'm not putting it up in my house as art, so goes in a spare room to get charged. Overall, very pleased with power and ease of operation. However, I did purchase the extended warranty as my Dyson experiences have been rather sad - they work great until they don't, so this one is good for 2+ years. Hopefully more. Oh, by the way, I have three dogs. Gets all their hair. ALL!
