Battery life wasn’t great and didn’t get the whole house clean on the battery life it had. But Dyson has stepped it up. Definitely a game changer. Gets the job done and more! battery lasts up to a few days for me! I have 2 large golden retrievers and this vacuum is just what I needed.

The on/off trigger mechanism was defective, either not starting on command or being slow to start and then not always shutting down when the trigger was activated to shut off the vacuum. But when operating correctly it did an outstanding job which is why we exchanged it and did not ask for a refund. The exchanged vacuum has given us no problems and does an excellent job. I would suggest purchasing the additional warranty.

Was able to pick up years of dirt trapped in our carpets. Had a central Electrolux vacuum and a Roomba which both were able to take the dirt sitting on top of the carpet but the Dyson is able to really suck up the dirt trapped deep inside. Seeing the bin fill of dirt brought relief that we will be enjoying a cleaner home! Thank you Dyson for making a fantastic product!!!

If you’re gonna set up the charger it’s gotta be close to an outlet. Also when you remove it from the cradle by the handle I inevitably hit the trigger and start the unit. My last complaint is vacuuming actually hurts my hand because it’s cramped by the trigger. I don’t have unusually large hands. It’s annoying And not ergonomically designed. I got a good deal on it because I had Best Buy rewards however I wouldn’t spend $700 and pay full price for the unit

Should’ve purchased sooner

I really wish I would’ve gotten it sooner. It has such a powerful suction and the amount of dirt that it has picked up that my basic vacuum missed is crazy (and gross haha). The only thing I don’t like is you have to hold the bottom in order to keep it on which can be annoying and hurts my finger after awhile.

Suction is subpar, I took the head off to suck up a popcorn kernel under my desk and it wouldn't suck it up. I have a large carpet and the small head and poor suction makes it feel like it takes forever and does not do a great job. If you push the lever to empty the container too quickly, it makes a huge mess. This was an impulse buy and i wish i had researched further, not money well spent.

Our cord-free machines are designed with versatility in mind, and this makes them a great choice for quick pick-ups or even whole-home cleaning sessions. Our Dyson V11 Animal vacuum includes the combination tool, crevice tool, mini motorized tool, and the stubborn dirt brush. The LED screen lets you know the run time countdown and lets you switch modes easily. The cleaner head features an integrated digital motor which spins the brush bar up to 60 times a second. It drives stiff nylon bristles deep into carpet to remove dirt, and carbon fiber filaments capture fine dust on hard floors. Both machines offer three cleaning modes for a variety of household tasks, so you'll have the right balance of power and run time where you need it.
It would be unusual to hear that your machine is lacking suction. V11 offers three suction modes of power and the torque drive cleaner head also features a suction control slider, giving you more control over your clean.
