While I knew Dyson was a good brand and a friend loves hers, I had not been ready to pull the trigger. I finally did, all this stay at home has meant more crumbs, dirt etc on my floors. My vacuum is big and heavy and I needed something easy to grab and use on a daily basis. So I took the plunge and bought the v11 animal. Why did I wait so long!! This thing is amazing. I can't believe what it's pulled out of/off my floors and rugs. I have 2 cats, I think I could make a 3rd out of all the fur it's picked up. Vacuuming the stairs was always a chore, not any more. The power in this cordless is crazy! So easy to use and it's now my go to vacuum. I haven't had the battery run out on me yet, it lasts long enough for my main floor and more. I highly recommend this Dyson, well worth the price and I like that you get a 2 year warranty when most are only one year.

So, I was diagnosed with ADHD [at 38] a year after getting this vacuum. But it turns out, this vacuum is the reason I'm able to actually clean my house. There's no cord to mess with. I don't' have to worry about losing attachments because they're all right on the vacuum or the charging base on the wall. I made sure to hang it right by my bedroom door which I pass by repeatedly and I find myself able to grab it and go! The furniture brush is perfect for getting the pet fur off my bed daily [a must, as I have two large dogs and 2 cats that always sleep with me]. I used this thing and then a carpet cleaner and had only a couple wet fur balls come out -- with every other vacuum there'd be tons! A sign that if you have pets, THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU! Its super pricey, but I'd rather pay this much for one I use, than $100 for one in the closet I never touch. Thank you, Dyson!!

I was given this Dyson as a gift because I wanted to tired of sweeping. I wanted a vacuum that would do the job quickly and be easy to use. This was the perfect product! It is exactly what I hoped it would be. Lightweight, easy to use, can be used quickly without any annoying cords, and has great suction. The only complaint I have is emptying the canister. It is easy to do but I feel some particles get stuck so when I have to use my hand to get it out I get dirt on my hand. Also trying to clean the rolling brush isn't easy, It's a little difficult to open. Otherwise, I would definitely suggest this vacuum.

I love this vacuum, it is very handy, perfect for cleaning corners and under the bed. It is not heavy at all, and the suction is great. I have an Australian shepherd that sheds a lot so I use this vacuum very often and the battery last enough to clean my 1800 square feet townhome.

I have never bought a vacuum for myself. I decided to choose this one because of the ads I kept seeing on Facebook. The cordless feature is awesome. I love the smart charging. It will stop charging once it is completely charged so the battery life won’t ever stray. The smart head is amazing. It doesn’t take long for it to detect I changed from my tile to carpet. It’s easy to handle to get up into corners for spider webs and on the baseboards with my dogs hair. I absolutely am glad I spent the money on this and Best Buy has a warranty as well as Dyson! That’s 6 years of protection! It’s so easy to clean out. The only down fall is that it has a small compartment for the dirt collection so you have to dump it frequently if you are cleaning your house. I don’t even notice really anymore though because I’m amazed with how well it works.

Lightweight, convenient for everyday use!!!! Strong suction, does a great job with carpets and hardwoods. Live that it has the smart recognition to automatically switch between different floor surfaces! Canister could definitely be larger but we can work with that!!

Does a great job of cleaning. So easy to use. Powerful. Makes cleaning my home a much more enjoyable experience. Has a longer battery life than other models. Love the cordless feature. It’s efficient, picks up a lot of dirt.

Great vac. Also have a dyson v7 which is great for hard surfaces but the v11 animal has so much more power and does rugs and carpets really well. Battery lasts a lot more. A bit pricey but as with a lot of things, you get what you pay for with this item.

Before I reviewed this item I wanted to make sure I used it for some time and I'm happy to say I love my new vaccum. I've had a Dyson vacuum before but it's at least 5 years or older, so I thought it was time to buy the latest version and its everything I hoped it would be and more. It's so powerful that I literally saw the color of my carpet change after a few times. It's also very quiet (compared to a regular vacuum) especially on the lowest setting. I like that I can vaccum twice a week and still have some charge left. The fact that it can go from carpet to tile with the torque head is nice and makes cleaning faster because I don't have to switch heads. Since the vaccum is so strong flimsy mats or shag like carpets can be difficult even though it's on low but opening the little vent on the torque head does help so you don't mess up your carpet. I really have no complaints about this vaccum. It makes me want to vaccum everyday.

This vacuum is light, cord-less and easy to use. It gets cat hair off the upholstery without dragging around a big vacuum. It is easy to use for a quick touch up of the carpet. I can do the main floor of my house on one charge, carpet and upholstery.

Invested in a Dyson vacuum after 7 years of using Bissell pet vacuums to clean my carpets. After charging the vacuum overnight, cleaned the bedroom carpets the next day. The V11 Animal vacuum collected at least 7yrs of cat hair from the bedroom carpets. Sad thing, I just shampooed my bedroom carpet with the Bissell vacuum a few weeks ago, what exactly did the machine clean?!? The carpet feels almost like new and can see the difference after I vacuum. Best investment I made in 2021. The V11 is light weight, can easily connect the various nozzles or convert the machine to a handheld vacuum to clean the couches. Now, only if Dyson developed a vacuum to shampoo carpets.

It was a gift that keeps on giving. It picks up cat hair with ease and everything else in its way. Light weight and easy to use. Definitely would purchase again for others as a gift.

My wife asked me for this for Mother's Day and I thought to myself, is this a trick? Haha! Now that we have owned this vacuum for well over 6 months, I know why she wanted it so bad! We have 2 kids and this has changed our lives. No more dragging out the vacuum, unwinding the cord and then winding the cord back up and putting away, just for small messes. We have a 1400 sq. ft. home with a mixture of hard woods and carpet and we can vacuum our entire house multiple times over on a single charge. Pay up for higher models, you'll be glad you did when it comes to battery life! The vacuum has plenty of power for all your needs and is very handy for tight spaces and under coffee tables/furniture. If you're on the fence, then buy it, you'll be glad you did!

The power and convenience of this vacuum is great. I have 2 dogs that shed a lot and because of this vacuums ease of use, it’s not an issue. I highly suggest this vacuum.

I bought a Dyson Animal Upright since I was getting a dog that sheds a lot. Great vacuum but difficult to haul out every single day to clean-up all of the daily dog hair on our hardwood floors. The V11 is just as good, if not better on hardwood floors, but so much easier to use on a daily basis and for quick clean-ups. Even though the V11 is suppose to be great for carpet as well, I don't find that to be the case. It's adequate but I find that my Dyson Animal Upright to be better for carpets. Expensive to have both but luckily got them on sale and had a decent Rakuten cash back on it to lessen the sting.

Very light, easy to use. Cleans perfectly - only with this Dyson I was able to clean a rug where all other vacuum cleaners failed. Able to clean my 3200 sq feet home without charging between.

This was purchased as an upgrade when Geek squad didn't carry a part for our previous model. This one is a lot heavier. Cons: The stick isn't as easy to take off since it's quite bulky and heavier. It is really powerful. We only use it on hardwood and low pile. When used on high pile is sucked so much fiber out of the carpet we had to stop in order to to not ruin the carpet or void the warranty of the carpet. We tried all levels and still way too strong. If you have warranty on your carpet please read it as most will not cover if you use a Dyson..Be careful when putting on the charger (hung on wall) as it may start to rip the screws out of the wall. The attachments we have from our Dyson ball will not fit on this model. The canister is so larger that its a bit tricky to use with attachments (for use without the stick). Pros: Emptying canister a lot better. Much easier to get all the debris out. The different power options are nice for multiple surfaces. We have cats so the attachments come in vary handy for vacuuming couches, pets beds etc. The weight was heavier than our old one but we got used to it. I would still purchase again. We just use our old ball Dyson for the high pile carpet. The thing I like most about Dyson is no bags and you can clean almost every part. We also purchased Geek squad protection.

This is the best vacuum I have ever used! Hands down if you have an apartment and are in need of a vacuum look no further. It has more than enough battery to clean our 1,100 sq ft apartment with plenty of battery to spare thanks to the fact that it knows what type of floor it’s on and adjusts the suction accordingly. And the suction is crazy. It’s so strung that it is pulling up the dirt/dust particles that are under the carpet itself. The only downside is probably the Price but if you are willing to spend the extra money you will not regret it. Time will tell but I’m sure this vacuum will last for 15-20 years as long as they continue to make battery replacements for it.

I have had this vacuum for over 2 years now and it is still working like it is brand new. Picks up derby that I couldn’t even see. Great value

Can you love a vacuum cleaner? Why, yes you can LOL! By far the BEST vacuum I have ever owned. Super easy to use and very efficient at sucking up dirt from carpets and tile entryway. Works so well that my kids "fight" over who gets to vacuum! Even the hubs now vacuums regularly -- without being told (nagged?) to do so! Note: you do have to continually press/hold the "on" switch to keep the vacuum going. Some reviewers have concerns with this due to hand mobility issues -- for us no problem. Yes, it IS pricey -- but worth EVERY penny! My carpets are so clean now that we are using the Dyson V-11 daily. Highly recommend!
