I bought this since we remodeled our house with hardwood flooring. We have a DC40 Dyson with no issues whatsoever. We just wanted to replace it with something newer and cordless! We are very impressed with the V11 and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Great power for a cordless. Downside is the cost but much more suction than lower models.

Have golden retriever and was worried about the hair using battery. Took a long time for my wife to change from canister. Works great very easy to use and move around. Highly recommend.

This is super light doesn’t hurt my wrist at all but it does leave a blister from holding the trigger in between your fingers. If you switch hands or make sure you’re not grasping it hard it doesn’t leave a blister then. Overall the best vacuum ever.

Cleaning carpets and hardwood floors is so easy. Don’t have to worry about changing vacuum cleaners or vacuum configurations. Just go from one surface to the next. It is also really great to not have to worry about cords. Great battery life.

I bought this vacuum mainly for my hardwood floors and stairs but I now use it all over the entire house. The charge lasts for me to do rugs, stairs, everywhere and then it’s just easy to plug back in and be ready for the next time. Highly recommend.

bought this for clean hardwood floors. I have a lab and hair is always on everything. This vacuum gets all the hair and well hold a charge. (Just use auto and the high speed functions drains the battery.) I would purchase this vacuum again

The Dyson battery vacuum does a great job, just take it off the charging station and vacuum. No plugs or cords to deal with. But most of all I would put it up against any vacuum cleaner power.

I had an older model and needed to help clean my mom's house so I invested in this one for her house. It's light enough that she can push it around and it's efficient enough that we don't have to vacuum the same spots over and over. Recommend!

I don't know how but this vacuum is working amazing. every time I use i have full bag of dust. Not sure what's going on. I never saw so much dust in my life from vacuuming the house. Definitely recommend to everyone.

We have two cats and use this vacuum at 2-3 times a day on our dark carpet. We had an older version, but the cord eventually frayed. When we brought it in, our extended warranty period had expired a few days prior. Best Buy gave us a credit anyway, and we purchased this model. There are two major updates that make handling the vacuum so much easier. Emptying the canister is extremely easy and the cat hair does not get caught around the filter. In the older model, I used to have to put my hand in the canister and wiggle it around the filter to remove the cat hair. Plus, the new battery indicator lets me know if I'm going to run out of power in the midst of a large vacuuming job. These cordless vacuums are wonderful for keeping the carpet clean and free of debris. And they're so easy to use that we never put off vacuuming.

Impressive suction / cleaning power. Cleans whole house on 1 charge (3000 sq ft with mix of carpet and hardwood). Bought as a "supplemental" day-to-day vacuum but find we use it for everything now. Handles golden retriever fur with ease. Easy to maneuver - its a bit heavier than I expected, but its well balanced in the hand. Nits: "hygienic" canister release is hardly hygienic... pet hair requires you stick your hand in to clean out; the wall-mount can't hold 2 attachments if the upholstery attachment is one of them; the brush cleaning tool is useless; it's expensive so I hope it lasts.

Thy Dyson commercials are true—this is some unbelievable technology. I used to roll my eyes when they came on but the power on this tiny motor is amazing. Goodbye every other vacuum cleaner

I’ve had this Dyson now for about a month now. My wife and I absolutely love it. Now it is easier to take the vacuum out for my wife to use inside the house. I use it to quickly vacuum my cars and keep it clean. A definite must buy!!

This is doing exactly what I wanted it to do... quick floatee dog hair pickup and dirt clods! I think it could be a little less pricey for al the plastic they are made up, but I guess you are paying for the name and engine.

Best ever! My dog sheds like crazy, like super crazy. But, this has kept it in check. It is great for my small 850' apartment. More than enough battery life to get everything done.

I was curious about a stick vacuum as I had always used an upright. I was so impressed with its suction and so happy that it can transform into a handheld. Also easy dumping and you do not have to touch dirt just empties. Very worth it!

I’ve Been looking for a vacuum for a while now and I’ve had a chance to test out the v7, v8, but this v11 animal is definitely the best you can get. It has the same power as the v11 torque with just one less attachment and no LCD screen.

I love this vacuum, in fact my whole family loves it! First my son and daughter in law had one that I used and I was sold. When my daughter tested out mine, she had to have one too. No one is disappointed!

I’m absolutely in love with this thing. Does 3 levels of a large house on auto setting. Amazon has an adapter so I can use all my previous attachments (Old dyson stick). It’s awesome, get one. You will love it.
